same thing happened at my dealer...

 

i finally got a tracking number .. no VIN.. what is it and how can i look it up? tracking# 14673

 

I ordered my V6 Premium on March 13th and was given a priority of 99. I just received my VIN today from my dealer. I wasn't expecting to get a VIN until much later, but hey, what a wonderful surprise. One thing to mention is that my car was ordered through A-Plan. Could that fact help it get built sooner?

 

Just an update on my 40 priority order...

Got my VIN today and it's scheduled for the week of April 19! This is a Canadian order that was placed Mar. 3.

Weeeeee!!!!!!!!

...Now I'll have to figure out how I'll pay for it, stupid dollar!

 

we will all have to figure out how to pay for it. if i buy something on financing like a car, my rule is to give up the same anount of the payment in other things i have. i have more than enough to pay as is, but it's my financial rule.

 

Bit of a joke there, other Canadians should know what I mean. I could get a similar car for maybe $7000 cheaper in the US. My situation doesn't allow me to do that though. I get paid in USDs and the CDN $ was around .95 when I ordered, it's basically even now and may soon rise above. Tack on a couple more grand for exchange...

I'll still be able to pay for it but budgeting will need to be tighter for a few months due to the dollar value and the car's earlier than expected arrival.

I think alot of Canadians will be cross border shopping for vehicles again this year!
