The Cyclone motor deserves respect in that it has v8 power from just a few years ago in a fuel efficient package. The motor loves to rev and loves to race around. It isn't the Big v8 that the 5.0 is but there is always pros and cons with vehicles. Why buy a v6 when for about 10k you can have a v8? Why stop there? Why not spend even more and get a GT500? There are reasons for getting a v6 that guys with the v8 think are silly like the price. 10k is a lot of money for a recent grad like myself.

The v6 looks just as mean as the 5.0 and I have been able to make mine look perfect for me. Car shows are great and I am not afraid to open my hood. Some of my friends who have v6 mustangs are afraid. I am not afraid because it is a great motor and I bought it, it is mine. I thing this v6 vs v8 thing needs to go away but it never will.
Sadly it is going away, soon it will be the I4 vs the V8.

They were virtually giving them away fall of 2013.
