I am happy with the refresh! It just lacks the hp! When they drop the 5.0 in the 2011 Stang all will be well.
But....IMO, Ford should move the next gen Stang up to 2013MY, but thats not going to happen.

edmunds is biased. they've got special sections for everything but Ford. not even one for the SVT Raptor... they act like the F150 isn't a good truck to boot when its only the most durable truck for REAL truck duty out of all of them; i get my news from autoblog and make my own reviews based on what is presented to me

you know, for all the crap people talk on the mustang, I always have to remember that it was the ONLY car that continued production all the way through.
If the camaro and challenger were such AWESOME cars, they wouldn't have discontinued them.
It seems people like to be tough on things that are proven to work: the mustang will not die (any time soon). It ALWAYS outsells competition. Men love them; women love them... It has a mystique that those ugly copy-cat camaros simply can not develop.
And yeah, it is underpowered. The mustang was always the underpowered one in the group -- and yet it still sold.
So let them talk crap on an exciting car that outsells the camaro and 350z (and yeah, they fail to mention the 350z was not updated for 8 years. no one's *****ing there!). The mustang will always be the pre-eminent pony car, and the consumer public knows that in their hearts.

As I Posted Elsewhere, After seeing these 2010 Mules, We All Know What that Diaper is Full Of Now!
I'd rather have a little Modesty than have My B*LLS Hanging Out!

The Z. Hands Down! ![Puke](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/puke.gif)
At Least the Mustang is Still Recognizable as a Mustang! The Front of the 370 Z Has No Resemblance to Any Z Past Or Present. WTF Were They Thinking with those Boomerang Shaped Head and Tail Lights?![Screwy](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/screwy.gif)

I think he was a little hard on Ford as a whole, but I agree that the 10' Mustang is kinda a let down. I don't mean to fire people up but if we are all honest with ourselves I think most expected more.
This is my pros and cons list of the 10' Mustang.
Pros
I love the interior, I think it's just about perfect....
Cons
No IRS, 6speed, decent upgrade from the current 4.6, perhaps it's just me but I also think the refresh was a little bland for my tastes I wanted something very different from the 05'. I guess this is one of the few times I prefer an older model over the new one.
I hope many here buy this car to keep the Mustang in production but I think I'm going to wait this 10' gen car out. (maybe an 07' GT500 can hold me off until the next gen car)

That's what I'm Thinking. They Changed Every Piece of Visible Sheet Metal Except the Roof Panel. The last time Ford made this many Changes to a Mid-Cycle Refresh was the 86 to 87 Thunderbird's. This isn't like the 60's or 70's even, where they bring out a Completely New Car every 4 Years.

Hmmm... I think the 370Z has a strong resemblance to the 350Z. Sure, the headlights are very ugly, but it definitely still looks like the current Z car overall.

I read few more articles from that "The Mechanic" guy from Edmunds.
His articles are usually crap and barely anyone ever agrees with him.

What the rest of the world thinks is completely relevant to this discussion. Why? The world ( and clearly, most of America ) thinks the Big 3 build nothing but complete utter **** on four wheels. This bandwagon has developed and was deserved in the 80s ( and IMHO, is still deserved by some of Chrysler's crappy quality. ) Unfortunately, this incorrect perception still persists, and there are those in the media who shouldn't be journalists at all, who do not check their facts, but simply rely on an outdated 30 year old comparison and live and breathe on the blood they draw every time they take an opportunity to machine-gun any Big 3.
This is why the new Mustang's quality, interior materials, LED lamps, and modern shapes are so important, since the Mustang is one of the few Fords the foreign kiss-*** journalists will actually pay attention to.

That being said, let's just see em' talk crap. After Mustang becomes the only pony car, standing alone once again.
