Just at 3000 Miles and I love my Mustang!!! Only one thing bothers me.. I seem to detect a miss when at idle at times. Still have not made to 5000 mile mark I will have the dealer check it then at my 5000 mile oil change.

Not sure how your car was tuned at the time of the problems but it does sound like you have had some bad luck.
The head warped due to them over torquing the heads and pushed the gasket...so they said.

Car was 100% bone stock(had my A/B's on) for both incidents. Like I said, everything else is great now, car makes power, I have none of the "cold grinds" or "whines" that people talk about.

All in all I am happy, just a bad taste in my mouth.

Just clicked over 30K miles this week and every one of them has been great.
Occasional grinds in 2nd gear when cold. Used 3 qts before 1st oil change 1 qt before 2nd oil change and none since. Still on the original P Zero's and yes they are toast.
Overall very happy with the car and still cant stop smiling behind the wheel.

Ha! Me too! I'll be looking for a cheap set of new takeoffs soon

Car is perfect. I changed transmission oil out at 500 miles. No grinds, lockouts, no noise, nothing. Car Burns no oil.

Got mine February 21st 2011 will be two years soon. Got almost 14,000 miles on it plenty of hard driving and a supercharger later everything works great! Want to put a system in it but I constantly think of the dead weight in the trunk..

I got mine August 2010 and it's my daily driver. I now have about 38k and had the driver seat power motor replaced. I did have the pedal get stuck onme during a race down the track but that was on redline. LOVE my car! Oh BTW I got the tune and intake right away when I first got her and when all those #8 failures were happening. She built tough and runs strong!!!

Just passed 11K on mine. Got it in March 12 so it was a late build 2012. Drive it like I stole it since I drove it off the lot. Had it at the strip with les than 200 miles. Had the little trip piece pop off around the passenger door lock. And have a rattle in the trunk, but that was caused by the hard launches on DR's at the track. Will find it and get that taken care of.

Only 2.5K on mine, but no problems. It scares me sometimes when I jump on it and I came from a modded C6. I put the Energy Suspension bushing and Amsoil MTG in the tranny and it works great.

Only thing I have had is a small rock chip on front bumper but It looks almost perfect after touch up. The spring broke on my garage door this weekend so I had to park outside for the second time. My jaw dropped when I came out to her this morning. She was totally frost covered! I felt bad for her.

GreenCars and conv_stang, please make an appointment with your Ford dealer for diagnosis as soon as possible. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, best daytime number, and the concern your vehicle is having so I can escalate it to the customer service manager for your area.

Deysha,
Already taken care of by my dealer. Nothing major. Replaced the trim and a rear deck speaker was loose and rattled. Thanks for your concern

15,200 miles; couldn't be happier.

The 2011 GT is officially tied with my 1997 Miata as the most "fun to drive car" I have ever owned....obviously in completely different ways.

Am I crazy or is this car getting faster with age? It still surprises me with the broad deep power band. I expected to be bored with it by now!!
