My GT CS is going on a year now and is awesome, I actually put the 2006 away for the week and drove the Pace Car all week to work.. I love this car especially 3rd gear!

Anyone else? FWIW, my car was a 6/2010 build...which makes it a "job 1 car" as far as I know.
I've owned my 2011 Mustang GT just over a year now and have almost 11,000 miles on the odometer. I have the 6R-80 6A transmission (thankfully) and there have been zero problems with the entire car. It's flawless and I could not be happier with it. My car was ordered in January 2010 and built on April 15, 2010.

Enjoy these photos of the day I picked up my Mustang from the rail yard:

I too have 1-2 when cold shifting problems, but aside from that I'm thrilled with this car.

Update- 15,000 miles on the clock, still 100% thrilled with my GT. While I have sentimental attachment to my Dodge Dart, I think this Mustang is my favorite car I have ever driven.

Mods are limited to as my signature reads below. I had the car tuned for about 800 miles (back in early 2011) but went back to stock and find the car to still have plenty of muscle.

No problems have cropped up...my only complains are as follows: the stock BBP tires are just about shot already (rotated twice, never smoked them up)...and wheelhop continues to be a drag. It does do the "ignigtor tick" when idling when hot but it doesn't seem to have any impact on the operation of the engine.

My personal rating for this car and ownership experience: 9.5/10.

I lost a 3rd gear synchronizer at 7,000 miles, brand new MT-82, 8,000 miles #8 melted down, whole new long block(2013 motor w/ no squitters) 112 miles later it warped a head.....

I love the CAR just not THIS car, if ford would buy the car back I would buy another 5.0(white this time) OR a pre owned GT-500...

But knock on wood 17,000 on the new drivetrain and it makes power and has been solid so I am reverting back and falling back in love.

Gentlemen

Ordered my GT april 2010, delivered the first week if July 2010 with 62 miles on it from ford quality control.

No rattles, squeaks, transmission problems, nothing, NADA.

The best, most perfect running car I have ever owned. The only change from stock are Borla type S axlebacks.

Mine is a Brembo base car with 3.55 gear, 6 speed, race red.

7100 miles on mine.

I had the windshield replaced after picking it up because there was gunk between the laminate right at eye level on the drivers side. Dealer took a few pics, Ford approved and sent a new one!

Now the speakers are causing vibrations/buzzing noises in the doors, and I get a bit of a rattle in the passenger side door. If I put the window down the rattle goes away. Oil change due at 8K so i'll get those issues looked at then.

Transmission makes clunky noises when shifting, but I guess that is normal? My 08 did the same thing.

1-2 and 2-3 shift almost want to grind when cold, but once it warms up it goes away.

And I just put my 4th quart of oil in. I went through 2 quarts in the first 3K miles, Got my first oil change, and now another 2 quarts in the past 4K miles.

Other than that, all is well!

Just passed thru 7500 miles this morning. No issues so far other than a clunky 1-2 shift when cold.

I'm sitting at 6300 miles, only thing I did was get the front suspension groan fixed with new LCA's (under warranty of course)... EVERYTHING else is perfect and still like new!

My car has 9000 miles and runs great. I think I have a blown rear speaker but I'm upgrading then in a week anyway. I've dreamed of this car since I was a kid. It's nice when a dream lives up to the hype.

I would say that over the past few months I've started to notice more and more creaks and rattles. Probably doesn't help that temp is dropping.

Whoa...any idea why the head warped on the '13 motor?

Not sure how your car was tuned at the time of the problems but it does sound like you have had some bad luck.

Ordered 5/10/11 Built 6/17/11 Picked up 6/24/11
Just clicked over 30K miles this week and every one of them has been great.
Occasional grinds in 2nd gear when cold. Used 3 qts before 1st oil change 1 qt before 2nd oil change and none since. Still on the original P Zero's and yes they are toast.
Overall very happy with the car and still cant stop smiling behind the wheel.
