Did anyone else get a "GOOD ONE"?

My Mustang GT has almost 5,000 miles on it...aside from some damage to the finish on the wheels in transit (replaced under warranty long ago) the car has been nothing but pure joy.

No squeaks, no rattles, no build problems, no ticks or knocks, no balky shifts, no nothing.

Anyone else? FWIW, my car was a 6/2010 build...which makes it a "job 1 car" as far as I know.

My car has been a joy. If I had to pick out an issue, it's that it's so good, it's hard to justify modding it. HP check, Looks check, handling check!

So far almost 11k on mine with no issues. A minor squeak in the drivers seat when lowered all the way down, but nothing worth whining about. And, I drive it like I stole it.

Mine has been great except for the 1-2 shift when cold that seems to be resolved with the QDC fluid...it does make a bit more whine with the new fluid but I am not bothered by it.

Interesting that you had problems with cold shifting down here. Are you in the upstate, midlands, or lowcountry?

Mine was built on a Friday, late June 2010...bought Nov 29th....7000+ miles....all is well.....and I too drive it like I stole it.

In fact, I am getting tired of everyone thinking I am racing them just because I accelerate from the light instead of waiting for the second color of green to show up.

June 2010 build, 66 miles of Ford Quality Control driving before I bought it, 6,000 miles, and 50 1/4 mile passes later NOT one issue. Im enjoying the car.

I did. My only complaint is that I don't live near any winding mountain roads where I can enjoy this car to the fullest.

My GT/CS was built on 6/9/2010 and is #180 of 383 2011 Red Candy Metallic Coupes. No problems at all. The transmission can be balky when cold, but as I have said in the past, so am I. I settled the 1-2 cold shift annoyance by starting in 2nd, until she warms up. I have over 10,000 miles on her, and have driven her all year to include the winter (with Blizzaks). The paint is perfect, no squeeks or rattles. I have done two oil changes, but that is just me. I took her on a 1400 mile round trip in March, and averaged 26.4 miles to the gallon at 75 (all interstate). Our Passat 2.0T only gets 26.8! All in all I am very pleased with Ford.

Oh, as a side note, she took First Place in the California Special Catergory, including 2007-2011 models, in Sept 2010, at the Sturgis Mustang Rally.

I got a Good One. Build date 9/30 and 2600 miles with no problems. I noticed that it gets Hot if you park it in the sun for a few hours and I'm sure Ford will do a recall on that.

Mine has been great. It was built in like April of 2010, and I've had no issue. I have a slight rattling in my trunck ever since I got my full exhaust, but that is to be expected.

My '11 5.0L was built in January 2011 and after 2K miles it is still perfect. Hate the wheel hop, but aftermarket LCA's helped a lot (adjustable UCA coming next).

No major complaints with mine, shifts a bit notchy going from 1st to 2nd. Other than that she runs flawlessly.

Mine has been perfect so far! Only have about 2k on her but absolutely no noises, my MT82 shifts perfectly. Love it!

Have 6000 miles on mine, one little issue. Top of the drivers side door there appears to be a scuff in the paint under the clearcoat. It is so hard to see, you have to be looking for it. That is all. No other issues. Lovin it every day!

After 9 months and over 8400 miles mine was great. Then yesterday, the clutch.....well it looks to be the old loose pressure plate bolts TSB.
