Congrats on your upgraded Mustang, always loved the SGM. Wife loves the glass roof in her 11 GT, I do too. Regarding the suspension upgrades, you will need to add LCAs, as I've found the 3:73 gears and Torsen rear axle produce a lot of wheel hop on hard launches. My wife's GT with 3:31 and standard 18" wheels has no where near the same amount of rear end hop.

OP-Congratulations! She's Gorgeous!!! I'd love to get a look at one with the glass roof in person. In regards to having the tuner taken off from and being used on the '14 shoot us a call if you haven't already done so and we'll get you set up!

Love it! Congrats!! And IMO the "Track Pack" suspension has to go. I'm just deciding on whether to do a PHB for now, or save up for a Watts Link, which is ultimately what I really want.

So far I have noticed the gauges are less cluttered. I kind of like the '14 gauge cluster better...not as "busy" looking. The steering wheel controls are less sloppy in a sense. I caught myself having to press the controls a few times to get it right on the '13, but the '14 did a nice job of cleaning that up. The clutch is different...am still getting used the the feel of it. There is a very annoying creak in my '14 that I just can't seem to find out where it is coming from. Other than that I honestly can't think of anything else at the moment. I only traded it in because I had 34,000 miles on a '13 and not nearly the same options.
Thanks! We do have very similar options! Great minds choose great options I guess ha! I will be reading and doing quite a bit of research the next few months so any info is helpful!!

Glad to see you made the right choice! Congrats! As stated in a previous post I too get a fair amount of wheel hop with the Torsen and 3.73's. I plan on adding the FRPP lower control arms and relocation brackets. Otherwise no other suspension mods for me... But to each their own!

very nice even though I was hoping you would go with the green. Ya know I have gone the past 8 years perfectly happy with my 06 still love driving it, but lately every time someone gets a new 14 or I see the 15 in pictures anyway, its like hmmmmm maybe its time? They really have come a long way in the past couple of years. Congrats

I do not think wheel hop is something to achieve. It can be super annoying. The whole car shakes violently at times. I understand that when it is occurring the vehicle is just passing the point between traction and spinning tires. I think the tires can play a big part too. I still have the stock Pirelli tires with only 2500 miles. I think they provide significantly more traction than the stock GT all seasons. Guys post about getting sideways in third and other such feats. My car with all traction control completely disable does not do that. From a roll my car hooks and pulls like crazy. But when it wheel hops... It can be violent.

You can experience it some with traction control on but not as much. I tend to notice it more in cooler temperature too. Last fall when it dropped into the 40's and 50's it was really bad for me. But that is also pushing the line on temp recommendations for those tires.

Exactly. I wish I could have gotten your two tone suede Recaros though. I'm not a huge fan of the all leather ones that are the only way you can get the GT's.
