chazcron takes the bra off
Nice to see you back around Chaz
The Mustang should not look that happy. The DRIVER should look that happy.
i think the headlight/grill pillars are too far in. i look at it and i see "mustangII" no offense.
I hope thats not what it looks like because it looks like it was hit with a ugly stick to the 9th degree. Taken design cues from the Mustang II is not too smart. I guess we will have a Mustang III now. GM's wish has been answered Ford's ready to give them the Pony car market. They fired the Flex guy, its know time to fire the Mustang Guys. That will be a real loser if there every was one, Ford please do not do it. Only positive thing is my 2008 GT500 value will sky rocket when this thing comes out. Ford if your reading this get rid of the Mustang II blinkers in the Gt500 grill and all the other Mustang II design cues. the side Blinkers look really ugly. The lower part that looks like a mouth has to go now.

That's definitely a great chop, but it shows just how much subtle tweaks and proportion changes can effect the overall feel of a design. Even though almost all of the general design cues are known at this point, it's how the overall proportions are put together that will give it it's character.
I don't think it will come across as looking so "happy". If you compare this chop to the current GT500, they are almost identical in design cues, but the proportions of the GT500 make it look aggressive rather than happy like this chop. I think basically it will look like a sleeker (not happier) version of the current GT500.
PS: Can someone put a lower fascia on it and some GT fogs? It also looks like it will have a double rise hood (95 Cobra R) from the previous raw shots of the exposed from ends.

Right back atcha, Doug. My home volleyball iMac is really showing its age, using ancient PS CS1, but it does put me in the mind of ALL those 05 Stang renders I did back in the day. I can't do personal work on downtime at work much anymore, depressed economy and all, so it's been tough. These Ford bras are a royal PITA to whittle down, they don't make it easy for me. Thank heavens for those ballsy photogs bold enough to peel back the velco to slake our spypic thirst.
Excellent chop! From the camo shots I've seen, I think you are very close to the actual 2010, unfortunately.
I wish Ford had left the front end more or less alone, and spent more time and $$$ on the tail. I feel the rear end is the weak point of the '05-'09 design, and from what I've seen of the 2010 tail there won't be any improvement.
My take on this is that Ford tried hard to make the '10 look smaller rather than better. The interior looks like an improvement, however, judging from the spy photos. YMMV.

I'm inclined to agree with Redbaron93. I prefer the current S197 (2005-2008 model). I realize car manufacturers modify the style on car models to attract renewed interest in various models but this suggested new style on the front end of the mustang does nothing for me.
