That's exactly who I was referring to. Where I live $25,000 markup is more accurate. Chevy does it too though at $20,000.

I don't think the mark up if any should be bad on the 1LE it a options like a Brembo PKG. So you should be able to go to a dealer and say 1SS,1LE put a order in and Bamm! 37,000 + taxs and all that other stuff you got a car .You can make any MT6 trans SS cope into a 1LE with a click of a botton when you are ordering the car .

Im sure its a greatcar, but I can tell you when I go to the track, I see 3 bosses and 30 plus Mustangs including many 2005 and up.
What I never see is the Camaro SS, So in my eyes, :who cares: Ill never get a chance to run one because they seem to be too much of garage queens to actually use them. Sh*& I even see more Corvettes at the track then Camaros..Too scared or Polish and wash type owners.

The pony car wars benefit us all!! It was a simple choice for me, but I realize that my 5.OH probably wouldn't be AS sweet if the camaro didn't get its game stepped up and gave the ford engineers a kick in the pants to step their game up too.

The camaro just simply weighs WAYYYY too much... I used to do ride and drives for chevy and got a lot of seat time in an ss...I couldnt see out of it for beans and it just felt way too heavy, its a MASSIVE car. It has a large presence on the road and you really feel it.

My mustang on the other hand, while still an absolute beast of a car, just feels so much more athletic and communicates the steering way more IMO. Im super happy with the track pack and Ive been putting the bolsters of those recaros and that torsen diff to good use in the twisties (i still would kill a man for a boss tho haha)

I think we should just all be thankful all of these awesome beastly machines even exist right now, (throwing the epa a big middle finger in the process haha) and let our cars prove it on the racetrack

Its funny...they compare it to the Car and Driver Lightning Lap competition time. Thats what one driver driving 20 cars one after another for one fast lap and getting a time. BUt GM takes their 1LE with rollcage, lightweight racing seats and who knows what else with their hotshoe test driver to beat the time? Yeah, not gonna happen in real life

Google GM's web site.

Careful when you type it in though; your fingers will burn and your PC may burst into flames. Not to mention What your Mustang will do to you the next time you get in it.

1LE will be avail for the 13 models (fall release) and the chevy build your own is still geared for 2012's, but in the UPDATE here it's described as "under $40,000".

Linked press release in below article states it'll be avail for the 1SS and 2SS models. 1SS starts at $33.2K (2SS @ 36.8) so that implies it'll be ~ $6500 option.

Boss starts @ $42.2K.

The Camaro SS 1LE will weigh 300 pounds more and will have 20 less Hp, but it will be faster than a Boss 302?

This is an interesting internet rumor.
