If the date is the one at the bottom of the sticker then it was today. You forget I live right outside Detroit so my car will not be delivered by rail but by car hauler most likely. My dealer has not been wrong yet so we will see!

Called Ford about an hour ago they said my car is completed. I asked them if they could tell me where it was physically. But could not or would not tell me. So just for the heck of it I asked when it was completed since I was told just 2 days ago it was on the assembly line. She told me 6/4... huh?? So was completed on 6/4 but was on the assembly line 6/14 weird. I have emailed my dealer asking for a rail car number or as much info as they could give me so I could make plans for when it comes in so we will see what happens next.
Build date is NOT at the bottom -- that's the PDF generation date. Build date is at the top. Look for the 1201006xx string of numbers at the top. That's your build date.

Pull up your window sticker using your VIN.

(Add the VIN to the end)
Look at the top for the date in the sequence: 1201006xx where xx is the day in June it was scheduled to be built. If it IS 6/4, then you should be closer to shipping. If it's 6/14, slow your roll.
I hope you are right about your car. I called CS today and was told my car was built on june 14 and has a dealer ETA of July 10. I live in Saginaw so about 3 hours from the plant, I guess mine will be delivered by horse and buggy
HIGH probability that it was started on 6/3, finished on 6/4. Not LIKELY that it's still on the assembly line.
Its just one of those things that kind of takes a little wind out of your sails when they sound like they are just reading what ever is in front of them like robots. I do feel comfortable that it was completed on the 6/4 date I got today. So maybe the 6/21 ETA is good.
Unless you hear differently with some kind of concrete information, Gary, I'd say you're probably "mostly" OK. 6/21? Unless you have a railcar ID, I'm going to say improbable. Just tell your salesman to check vehicle visibility and get the status.
Just as I click to post the last time I got an email from my dealer. The last line reads
Primary: In Production
Secondary: Produced
Vehicle Location: Autoalliance
Status Date: Jun-04-2010
ETA: June-21-2010

Same day mine was "produced". Why is yours just sitting there. -__-
