No, it's not. It went in as a stock order not an x-plan order BUT the dealer isn't listing it as part of their inventory like other stock orders so I feel pretty good about that.

And if not, no big deal. I'll get one eventually.

 

Well, they know what you've been through with all the waiting, so I bet most likely the will help you out cause I'm sure they don't want to lose you as a customer.

 

Just noticed a born on 6/3 car came in. I figure Joker will get one in before me due to the shipping distance so I am waiting JS. Make me happy and tell me you got it this week. If I can get it before the 4th weekend I should be able to get some of the mods done then.

Don't have any info on the whereabouts of my GT/CS but the jacket (featured in my avatar) I ordered on Feb2 (the same day as my car) was finally delivered to me yesterday.

 

I mean worried about defects.

It's a Ford. Of course it will have defects. I don't recall owning one yet that didn't have them.

Am I worried about anything super terrible? Nah. If they couldn't fix it while it was hanging out at Ramp 51 then it's either total crap and will get fixed/replaced under warranty or the issue is so trivial that it doesn't matter.

 

More importantly, were you able to track your jacket from production to delivery?

 

Not actually. I guess the jacket was out of stock when I ordered it, 1st eta 2/28, 2nd 4/30, 3rd 5/31 and final Eta 6/14. Do I detect a pattern with ford, to be fair the jacket was made in... you guessed it China but seems like 4months is an awfully long wait for a clothing. But, once UPS recieved the product from the warehouse, I was able to track its movement flawlessly.

Ford CS Update: IN TRANSIT as of 6/15. No ETA, but Coffeejolts car would have gone the exact some train route and took a week. Should be at the dealer Tuesday!

 

You must provide the last 6 of your VIN to be added to the list by request. Otherwise I just add you when I feel like it.

 

FYI, Ford CS has been telling me that my car is "IN TRANSIT" since 4/19 because it is no longer in production. You might want to ask them the question differently to be sure.
