Hey, would an oil separator help stop this????

Yes I believe an oil separator is supposed to help -- that's why I ordered one, haven't receive it yet.

By the way, I've noticed that this is quite reproducible -- pretty much every time I start the car and move it then shut it off, the next time I start it, I get the blue smoke.

I installed UPR's oil catch can (separator) on my supercharged '07 GT and it eliminated the blue smoke on restarts (and all starts for that matter). I ran a PCV valve in line before the catch can to prevent as much oily vapor as possible from getting into the intake stream, and the catch can did the rest. Worked like a charm and I highly recommend this mod to anyone - especially as you start modding to higher power levels.
