American Racing 2010('11) Mustang Wheel...

Guys,

Right now I have the '05-'09 Style wheel on my car (18x9), in the back for Drag Radials, but I REALLY Want a BALANCED Stock apperance, and I see American Racing now sells the 2010 Style wheel in my Needed size (18x10)

However, the guy fr. American Racing isn't really Sure if these Wheel will
100% MATCH my stock fronts. Belows the link, SOOOO Before I pull the triger
does anyone know if thier a 100% Match???

You keep referring to "American Racing", you mean "American Muscle" though.

I can tell you that the color won't match, hypercoated silver color is very different than the stock silver wheels.

I guess you could paint them to match.

color aside, there IS a difference in the styling of the AM and the OEM wheels.

The spacing of the spokes is different. very slightly, but noticeable enough to me. I guess they have to be just a little different to avoid any patent infringement.

Those wheels you linked are the replicas of the optional 19" 5-spokes, not the standard GT 18" 5-spokes...

Cheaper to buy a set of 4 of those aftermarket replicas than it would be to widen some stockers.

It can be done if you really want to though, place up in Michigan does it.

Actually, looking at the stock wheels, the Offset is ALL Front, ie, you can ONLY tac
2" onto the back, and then thry'd RUB for sure????

Yes, you would only be able to add to the inside of the wheel.

Rub??? Maybe.

What are you trying to achieve?

I know there is someone with 20x11 F14s in the back, so I'm pretty sure your 18x10 won't rub as long as you get a decent offset.

Why not just go with a set of the AM 19" x8" and x10" rears? This seems like a very simple answer.

OP is not worried that an aftermarket 10" wide wheel will rub, worried that if he had stockers widened by 2" on the inside that they would rub.

EXACTLY!!! Especially since After Widening 2" there will be ~8"or More of total backspace!! And I happen to actually LIKE the Stock Silver 5 spoke...I know I'm crazy.. :-)

Planning on getting a pair of these, myself. And they're not hyper coated. Like mentioned, the pic you link isn't the correct wheel.

Sleek Silver Finish
Matches OE Styling and Finish
Perfect for upgrading to a wide rear tire

See, this is why I asked exactly which wheel you were trying to duplicate.

I was confused when you posted the first link to the premium GT style wheel but kept posting about the stock 18" GT wheel. Two completely different wheels.

Could have settled this a long time ago with the correct information.
