I dunno... hopefully it don't crash like windows. Imagine a blue screen of death on your Sync?

hahahah. My friends and I thought of that same thing when we first heard about sync. Next thing you know there will be an Apple version called the iCar or something

Well, Ford's not designing any of the software for the communications/entertainment components. The existing NAV system is actually made by Pioneer. The shell and controls may be to Ford specs, but the guts and electronics are Pioneer.

And I wouldn't trust Microsoft as far as I could spit. Sync seems OK, but imagine what Apple could have done with an in-car interface...especially after witnessing the might of the Jesus Phone.

You mean, they'd rip off another company, it would look pretty and do well at editing photo's and movies?

LOL. +1 on the cooled seats too. Living in Florida of course. I too hope the NAV is much better and has a better GUI. Again, the more options the better. That's why they are called options. You don't have to get them, but they are available for those who want them.

Yeah, but only after they themselves had been ripped off, only to go on and create the finest UNIX-based operating system the world has ever seen, the most elegant hardware, the greatest personal music player in history, and the only phone Jesus would have owned.

Everybody knows Windoze Vista is a pitiful and largely unsuccessful attempt to copy OSX.

In my work I use both side-by-side every day (OSX and XP) and it quickly becomes VERY clear which OS is superior.

Hey now,
I'm talking WAYYYYYY back... not anything recent. I'm not talking or defending MS here...
I'm talking Xerox days

As for MS, everyone knows that VISTA is trying desperately not to become the next "Windows Millenium Edition"...

And sorry I insulted your 'religion' :P
