Anyone else prefer the '12s over the '13s?
The "kink" on the bottom of the taillamp that many people objected to on the 10-12 models. Straightening that out on the 13 makes it look much better to me.
However some people object to the bent corners of the rear which did not change one bit for the 13. I am fine with it though...

I just hope the 15 MY isn't so... Well, the fake vents are a lil too Cadillac/GM style for my taste. Looks like a Mustang-V... But the taillights are awesome IMO, the front end, not so much. I think I'll be waiting for the 15 MY or try to get my hands on a used 13 Shelby in a couple years. If I'm gonna shell out 10 more g's, I'd rather get a supercharger and a cowl hood for my 11 than some fake vents and track-apps I'd never use (prob just find my fav setting and leave it there)...

Ford has extended the '12 Mustang order banks to Jan 12, 2012 (they initially said they would close on Dec 23, 2011). So, anyone that prefers the '12 over the '13 has that much longer to place their order.

Hey brian, any word on the '15 order banks.
Keep us in the loop please.

to me, 1969-70 > 1967 > 1965-66> 2005-09 > 1971-73 > 2000-04 > 2013 > 1974-? > 80's > 1987cheesegraters > 2010-12
only reason I'd pick the painted cheesegraters over the 10-12 was because there were easy bolt-in options from other years- or even the capri which I liked a lot back then except for the back window...
the 10-12 now *might* have a bolt-in option, but think it would be too pricey for most folks to want it that bad. I was one that really didnt care for the chamfered bumper look at all, but for some reason it seems fine to me with the straighter 13 bumper/light line- its what a 1/2" difference maybe, but totally changes the cars looks to me.
would be nice (smart IMHO) if ford racing offered a 13 'package' to update the rear looks at a reasonable cost...not because ones ugly, but just because some folks might be willing to spend a few hundred bucks to make their car look like a new model again- otherwise I'm guessing over the counter, lenses will be near >300 a pair, >400 bumper cover, >100 for a harness likely, >200 for paint...adds up in a hurry.
I liked the look of SHR's flush louvers enough to buy a pair, a couple hundred in materials to paint/install improperly, then ordered another set of prepaints... a lot of money for a couple pieces of plastic some might think, but think looks-wise they were still a bargain, as they made the car look more like it should have from the factory, and the change was worth it at any cost...eventually I'll be putting them in the 09 too (wife wont let me touch her car...she wants it left stock)
if i had a 10-12, I'd be chompin at the bit to order a 13 rear, just like I was to get a set of SHR louvers for my 06 after seeing SHR's teaser pics
