Anyone else prefer the '12s over the '13s?

For the record, I have a 2010 GT so none of that '2012 buyers remorse' chatter.
But is anyone else not thrilled will the 'improvements'? The vents on the hood are very after market and the deck lid paint looks to be a hot mess. And the opening on the front, while great on a Shelby, just doesn't feel right to me. As much as I wanted to trade up to a 2013, I think I'll just hunt for a good deal on a 2012 and be more than satisfied.

I prefer the 2012 boss front, Valance/splitter but knowing that I can order a 2013 track pack with cloth, recaros, and every other boss add on. I might trade mine in for 2014 depending on how the 2015 looks.
I think the 13 looks like a 12 with a cheap ricer bodykit. Not sure what ford was thinking when they designed those bumpers. I am coming to like the tail lights but they just don't look factory imo. BUT THE GT500 IS NASTY
I like the look of the 2012 better. I wish I had the Recarro seats and am torn about whether I had the LCD gauge cluster.
I don't like the exterior of the 2013s as much. I won't be trying to add the 2013 tail lights.

Haters gonna hate I guess. The 13 looks a lot better. The tail lights are not the best but the front end is beautiful. The 12 bored the shyte out of me and I actually prefer the 08 over the 12 also. I think that the 12 owners should get a special trade in deal on a 13. It's just not fair otherwise.

Looks wise only? The '10-'12 look waaay better in IMO.
But in every other way the '13 is superior.
Not enough to justify a trade in for me with the '15 around the corner. I LOVE the new interior tech and options, but I'm still in love with my '11

I am fine with my '11 GT/CS. The same (or very close) front throughout the model is a turn off for me. I like a little appearance difference.
The new instrumentation is nice, especially if you track/race the car. Seems like a nice way for Ford to be able to read how you drive....even though they said it is info they already had access to. Wonder how many will buy it and never look at it or race the car....it should be easy to change around, but I bet most will pick a setup and leave it after they have played with all settings.
The Reccaro seats just don't fit my old body....and getting in and out of them is problematic for the wife so that option is no good for us.
I don't like the stripe placement and having a 5.0 badge on the California Special either. I prefer the stealth engine size of the 11-12 CS.
Don't care for the tail lights at all, especially after I saw them in the turn signal mode. The gloss black should be flat/satin for better looks.
New colors are great and there are some sweet wheels. Brembos on the auto is nice and the manual shifting is good but will take a bit to get used to the switch.
Everyone has an opinion and it is just that. It just amazes me how many times, in different threads across the net, I have read how those that have not vowed to love and cherish the newest style are looked at negatively or called names. Dang....we all drive Mustangs......keeping them alive.
I didn't like the 10-12 tail lights when they first came out....and they grew on me...plus, to get a new car, there are some things that one may have to accept. Maybe some day I will like that they all look very much alike now.....who knows. It would be an easy step for me as the '11 is paid off.....
To those that like and will buy a new one...great and I know you will enjoy it and I will enjoy mine.

Totally blown away by the Shelby.
I'm thrilled to see the change to the GT as well, but not because I like it. I don't.
For me, the '10-'12 body style is perfect on the GT. Don't care for the Shelby nose on the 13's or the body colored rocker panels...makes the car look thicker to me (which is why they went with the dark grey in the first place).
Coupled with the exceptional 5.0 motor of the '11 and '12 models, and the fact that the '15 will be a total redesign and I'm in love with the retro look (born in 59), I'm thrilled I have a 12...it represents the last of the 2 best years ever, to me. 2011 and 12. I absolutely love everything about my car from the looks, inside and out, to how it drives...most importantly, how I feel when I'm driving it. Below are a few visual reasons why.
Regarding the Boss, I much prefer the paint scheme of the 13, but don't think it should have the Shelby nose, either.
Wonder how the GT500 folks feel about the GT and Boss getting their nose.

I like them but the entire fleet of Mustangs look like a Shelby now.. I just think the Shelby should really be set apart and now they kind of blend together but I applaud all the advances and the rear end is very cool... If I was a shelby Owner I might be a little miffed at the changes to the body...

I think attitudes will change when people start bringing the 2013s home and pics are posted. I think the convertibles posted in the stickys look pretty good but I feel like they will look sharp in a coupe.
This basically sums up my opinion. I don't think the 2010-12 is perfect, as I like but don't love the tail lights and GT front, but it looks a lot better than the 2013 to my eyes.
