Another one bites the dust
Well everyone the saga is over. I have a new car in my garage. Amazingly the dealer found another car just like the one that was wrecked. Same color, same options (plus a couple extras). It is so nice to have this all behind me. Now it's back to enjoying this awesome machine.

Well here you go, some quicky lunch pics. This is the replacement! The description in my signature is for this car! (Except the rear springs aren't in yet and the silver hood spears aren't on, geez, I just got it home at 8:00 last night!) Only differences are the old car I had deleted the back up cam for the CS spoiler and also had ordered the hood scoop. This one has the BU cam and rear sensors and no scoop. One bonus is that I got a strut tower brace because this car had the ugly, imo, machined "19's on it. I had them swap those over along with my GT 500 axlebacks.

oprheus...congrats buddy. Glad to see you on the road again. Nice "new" car
Yeah lower the rear for sure.... eeek... i get shudders whenever I see a stock 4x4 stang
p.s. where are those pics taken??? That looks familiar since I lived in WI sometime ago.

The pics were taken at the waterfront off of 1st Street in Menominee, MI. My town Marinette, WI and Menominee are sister cities on Lake Michigan.
Wow what a dealer. Congrats!
May I ask about the scenario of the replacement? Did they literally take the wrecked one in as a trade and you were able to work out a deal that fit your budget? Did insurance do anything?

Togan, the camera and sensors weren't there before. The hids were there.
JM, the insurance company repaired the wrecked car. The dealer I bought it at also did the repairs and sold me the new one. They took the repaired one in trade and I worked out a diminution of value claim against the other guys insurance that covered just about every penny of the difference.
