About to lower the '13 GT

I am about to pull the trigger on lowering my 2013 Mustang GT. It is a brembo car.

My list at the moment consists of

Eibach pro-bamper shocks and strucks
Eibach sportline springs for that little extra drop
Maximum Motorsport caster/camber plates
Steeda adjustable panhard bar

Will I need anything else to make this work effectively and safely right away? I will upgrade control arms down the line but from what I've read these items listed are needed to do a proper lowering job. I could just get the springs and let it rip, but I won't my car to have a performance upgrade, not just be lower and drive for a little bit before I start seeing problems.

Down the line I will also be changing to a 20" rear wheel, maybe 20" up front maybe 19", haven't decided. But at the moment I am thinking about the TSW 20x8.5 with a 20x10 with 295's on the rear. Any problems I may run into with this drop and set up. The other option I am considering is the 19x11 with 305's in the rear on a Forgestar F14

That all should work for you. Your LCA's will most likely be pointing a little up towards the axle so you might get a little more wheel hop then usual. I would also look into either the FRPP bump stops or better yet Maximum has some that are supposed to be shorter to allow for full shock travel and still stop the metal on metal that occurs from bottoming out.

Your shopping list looks good. You may want to consider different shocks/struts. When I was researching my suspension, eibach shocks and struts seemed to be average at best. I think the koni strt might be a better shock and not be much more. I'd try talking to Jay at Hypermotive. They give excellent advice and service.

Or you can look no further than Steeda to pair with that panhard bar

What are your ultimate goals for your car DD or are you going to track it?

Best Regards,

Post pictures when this happens. I love sportline cars with fat tires in the rear

Nope no issues. Almost got those same TSWs. Am/will be running 305s in rear.

I'll keep ya'll updated on this, and definitely with pictures. As of last night life happened, so instead of buying all this in bulk to throw together I'm going to have to piece things together, so this is gonna take a little longer than planned. Oh well, maybe this will give me the time to upgrade a few items along the way.
