8/16/2010 Powertrain Change?
Really can't tell if the differences are due to better parts or just different suppliers or whether they have any affect on performance, quality or reliability. It could just be that Ford found a better way to make them at reduced cost? No way to say, really. Still, we can tell from this that Job 2 will have a fair amount of changes in the 2011's. How significant they are to the customer is hard to tell.

Thanks Mike. I hadn't had time to look in detail, so seeing that first hand from someone who did it helps.
Wondering why part #6007 is quite a bit more than 6006 or 6009.

Wow, I had a couple of brain farts earlier. Disregard my last post about what was included. It was early and I didn't have my coffee yet. I can use that system, just chose not to.

Interesting read...and it"ll likely be years before we discern the upgrade job2 mods from the cost saving job2 mods...I had a '94 GT that had a felt like liner at the bottom of the small door pocket and a '95 GT that didn't...functional rear cooling ducts '95 to fake vents '96...many mods never make the brochure
Bump - I've been updating the list of production changes that have occurred throughout the 2011 model year.
This is NOT the definitive list.

Late 2011 build FTW for these reasons only, lol
