The 12.5 @114.8 was a 6 spd manual, while the 12.6 @113mph was a DCT (no SMG anymore for E9x M3's). It was interesting beacause the manual actually beat out the DCT which the opposite happens.

I'm just basing it on a car that has similar hp numbers along with similar weight. The M3 has more topend but the GT will have quite a bit more torque. Although the M3 with its shorter ratios through the gear box along with the final drive may end up getting the edge here. The M3 with its 8400rpm capability and its 3.85 final drive may have the Mustang at a slight mis-match.
