But MM&FF numbers aren't realistic either unless they are dragging a Camaro SS at the same time. The 11.98 they ran on a stock 2010 GT500 was great but I could only dream of running that in mine.

Yeah but it gives a better idea of what the car is actually capable of. Might as well grab Joe off the street and let him get some runs if you want "realistic" times. That's now what we all want. We want to see what these cars are fully capable of.

I agree with you about the side by side comparison. I say line up a 5.0 GT and SS, bone stock except for slicks and let MM&FF and Super Chevy (not really up on Camaro mags) have at it. Forget the Challenger R/T for now because it's not competitive. Best car wins.

Worst part of the 5.0 burnout video, is the guy going for the dramatic voiceover:

"The All-New 5 liter is back"

If the 5.0 liter is All-New, how can it be back?

Maybe we'll have to refer to the old and new engines as 5.0 Senior and 5.0 Junior. Of course, I like calling it Coyote much more than 5.0 or 302. Hmm, maybe someone ought to make up fender badges that say "Coyote Powered".

Well, if we call it Jr, its packing one hell of a punch so the old man should be proud.
