That's what I'm thinking as well. More I think about it the madder I get. Still wondering how the whole vin thing worked. They probably ordered it an sold it without letting me know it was in.

 

Where are you guys getting these $750 coupons from? My wife and I both ordered '14s, so that would be a nice $1500 combined savings. Ordered on 3/22 and still don't have a VIN yet.

 

Go to the Ford website and order a couple of the 2014 Mustang brochures. Some of them come with a $750 coupon on the back page, some of them don't.

I received mine a couple weeks ago, but the coupon expires in mid-May, which will expire before my car arrives, if I actually order it tomorrow.

 

I actually got my coupon via email, didn't have to wait until the brochure arrived.

 

Just got her last night... what an awesome machine! The family went on an hour ride and loved every minute. My 2 boys (10 & 6) loved the glass roof and Nav, as did I.

i ordered mine on 4/4/2103. how long before i should get my VIN? they said 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.

I requested a brochure for the 2014 Mustang with a purchase time frame of 0-30 days. It came a few days after I made the request.

Yes they did charge the deposits. They requested $250 for each car (normally $500) and I didn't question it at all because I just looked at it as $250 less for each loan lol. It's a dealer on a local mustang board who has many happy clients, so I had another reason to not have an issue putting that down. Yeah, I know Deysha is out this week so I'm refraining from PMing her (though it's tough to hold back lol). She got back to me last week saying to check back later, so I'll probably check in next week, mid-week, so she's caught up from being out this entire week.

 

Wow! That has to be a record for the shortest time between order and delivery date !!

 

I know ... Deysha was right on all her dates .... I was worried it would take awhile based on what everyone else was experiencing ... So Pumped!!

 

Just got off the phone with the dealer, and I now have a VIN number! Build date has been scheduled, and the current estimated delivery date is May 3rd! Did not think it would go nearly this fast. Now I need to learn to be patient until the VIN hits the system and I can pull up the window sticker!

 

King nut, I ordered on 4/4/2013 as well. Was told the same 6-8 weeks. We will have to stay in touch and see how things progress. All I have at this point is the order confirmation number.

 

Hard-case, when did you order? I ordered my Shelby a week ago and it already feels like I have been waiting a month.

 

Ordered at the end of March, so a little less than a week before you. And I know very much how you feel! It's only been a little over a week and a half, but it feels like forever. Doesn't help that I'm stuck on rentals and borrowing cars until then.

Though I did order the GT Premium, and from what I have read the selection process works a little different for the Shelby.
