2014 Ordered/Built/Delivered Thread
Just curious if you are in a metro area like STL? Seems like your car should have shipped by truck not rail. Maybe that's the mix up?
But maybe you are not in a metro area.
Hope you have good news soon!

Yes I am in St. Louis. I couldn't agree more, truck could have made the drive in 8 hours. Another Corporate decision, I was told they all go by rail, but then again I have been told a lot of BS lately.
Nice looking car. You will enjoy the Mustang.
Just got my window sticker... it looks like my build day is April 1st ... April Fools Day!!... I hope this isn't a cruel joke :-)

Picked up our car up Wednesday.
Sweet! Now we just need some convertible weather!
And no more snow!
Ordered Feb 16 and picked up at Dealer March 27. So almost 6 weeks start to finish.
Seemed like an eternity! But it was worth the wait!
....your location says Midwest...just curious what state/city??
net knight I see above you will be getting it soon!
Post some pics when you get it. I would love to see that interior!
It won't take too long now that you are at the build date. Maybe 2-3 weeks? Maybe by then it will quit snowing!
If you talk to your dealer ask him if he can get your build sheet for you.
(It's kind of cool momento). And our dealer was kind enough to leave off the dealer emblem with no issue. Doesn't hurt to ask!

Update - NOTHING!!
After playing the excruciating waiting game with FORD, now of all things, another delay. Original ETA was 3/20 then 3/28, now anyone's guess. The car finally shipped on 3/21 via rail on Rail Car ETTX 852391, then the car was unloaded at Norfolk Southern Rail Yard in Fostoria, OH 44830 (75 miles from Flat Rock) on 3/22/13 and placed "ON HOLD" by FORD "Until Further Notice" were it still sits in limbo. Dealer nor the Zone Rep seems to know why it is "ON HOLD" nor does anyone else I have been able to reach. This has been a nightmare from day one. Today I told the dealer he will most likely be able to stock this unit when it arrives. Three (3) months and still no car and no current valuable information is beyond RIDICULOUS!! This all adds up to a Bad Omen to me....sorry but had to vent.

After what seemed like an eternity of a combo of awful weather and / or busy nights and weekends, I am FINALLY picking up my car next Saturday. The schedule is clear and it looks like the temps and weather will be ok. Poor girl has been waiting for me since 3/14, but luckily my dealer has kept her warm and dry in his shop this whole time. Weathertech mats are already at the dealer and Redline hood struts are waiting in my garage with a bottle of Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection, sponge applicators, and microfiber towels. Man is this week going to be a LONG one!

I have put about 300 miles on my gt500... it is stupid powerful and a shear blast to drive! Been in the 50's a couple days. Can't wait for warmer weather and get this bad boy to hook up! I hope everyone is enjoying their cars or the process of waiting!
took some pictures of the interior and my new shift ****. It looks white because of the flash but its really gray to match the car. Im in love with this new gt put about 30 miles on it just drives around learning the car and its features. I have no problem shifting when i get going but going into first is going to take a while. It bucks sometimes and this **** gas pedal is so sensative i over rev it when trying to get into first not even meaning to. The slightest tap and itll rev to the moon, i shouldnt be complaining about that though so much power i cant wait to experience it all!
