On my VIN label on line I noticed it says "CONVOY" in method of shipping. I noticed some others show RAIL. Does CONVOY mean truck only? Just curious.

3/14/13 got work order and tent. build date
3/18/13 got vin and build date for 4/01/13
3/20/13 got expected del. date for 4/12/13 BIG GRIN!!!

 

Just got the call! It's at the dealer. I pick it up Wednesday but I'm going to get a few pictures first today. Ahh can't wait!

 

Just got word from our dealer..... Our Shelby will be built some time in April! Possibly arriving the second week in May! Dealer said that Ford wanted to build it sometime in March but dealership said no. lol There is over 2 feet of snow on the ground here yet! I would cry if it got a salt bath on the way here! It will be interesting the hear from Deysha on a VIN number. Hopefully soon!

I can't believe that Ford wanted to build so early?! We ordered Febuary 8th....Did Ford not sell that many Shelbys? We did have a priority of 10. All in all, I'm sure that we won't get the car until late May just because spring is coming and customers and dealers will be ordering cars like crazy! Happy Friday all!

Just found out from Deysha my car has a ETA of the 30th! Thanks Deysha!... You are Awesome! Read somewhere that the side scoops and window louvers are dealer installed?! Can anyone confirm this? And does anyone with illuminated door sills know if you get to keep the non-illuminated ones since those are dealer install only? Thanks Guys!

 

not sure on the window louvers and side scoops .. but im pretty sure the gt premium comes standard with the illumined door sills/cup holders/ and door pocket handle thingies. Im sure they can take them out if u want but you can just turn off ambient lighting and they wont illuminate.. but why i ask why? they are oh so cool!

Unless I am not understanding the descriptions on the Ford web site... The illuminated door sills appear to be an additional accessory that must be purchased even on a Premium GT... Since they are a dealer installed item only from what I understand, that would mean the car leaves the factory with non-illuminated door sills. I would like to keep those since the tech will probably just throw them away... Or am I over thinking this?

Yeah, it does look good with the Roush wheels. I liked the chrome Roush wheels too.
