I've only had mine for a few days but love it. Congrats!
13 weeks for me

On mine (build same day and almost identical vehicle) there are two small pilot guides for a front bumper plate bracket. They are not holes, just small inconspicuous detents in the original mold and are painted the red. They are there to guide the dealer's driller as to where to drill should real holes be needed. Without them a hand held drill would probable wobble excessively and make too much of a mess rather than two neat holes.

The top is designed to stop short of the latching frame when putting the top "up." This is to prevent finger injuries as well as to ensure the top is in tension when finally latched (else it would flutter). I have to pull moderately strongly to latch the top and that is part of a proper design. If you really have to put effort into it have the dealer check it out and there may be an adjustment which can be made.

Took the Mustang down to Orlando today, had some ribs at Tony Roma's, and returned. A very nice 23.7 mpg for the 5 hour (in the car), 220 mile trip. Outbound on back roads, then some typical Orlando traffic (ugh...tourists!), and Interstate for most of the way back. Top up for the duration as the dang thermometer never got above 55F!

Kairha is very pleased with it (esp the heated seats) and is actually looking forward to a planned trip to New England in August/September. (A small victory!)

My salesman spoke to the service folks and they said there was an adjustment that could be made. The convertible we rented in Hawaii did not require near as much force as mine does, so I'll take it in.

I assumed the little 'holes' were guides put in at the factory, but I would swear they were not visible when I picked up the car. I have a front end shot from the day after I picked it up and they are not visible zoomed in to 300%. I'll take a look at other new Mustangs at the dealership.

So you had the top up at 55 degrees? That's what jackets and hats are for.

Good news about your pending trip. It is always much more pleasant when your significant other enjoys the car. My wife and I will take Maria on a week long road trip down the coast in May with some of my S2000 friends. They told me I had to be at the back, because I would not be in an S2000. I told them that was okay but I didn't want them crashing because they were looking in their rear view mirrors to get a view of Maria.

if everything goes as planned with my ETA being March 12 then it would have been a total of 47 days or 6 weeks and 5 days for me. But i no ETA's are subject to change so who knows...

Deysha informed that my car was built and now is awaiting shipment. ETA of 3/8/2013 to my dealer. Still can't believe how fast the order went.

Looks like the car may be here just about the time a snow storm hits. Only 2-3 inches of snow this whole winter and now we might finally get something. Go figure.
Glad to hear yours is built and waiting transport - - since both of ours were to be built the same day, hopefully mine is in similiar position - have a PM into Deysha for an update on mine as we speak!! HOPEFULLY this latest white event forecast will pass us by - but with both of us awaiting delivery we are really tempting the weather gods on this one - - good luck!!!!!

Good luck with your order.
Same happened with mine I ordered 0n Weds. and had the Vin on Saturday, My first order went in on 1/7 and got messed up;
By the way Your a Copy Cat, I have the twin to your car coming but as an automatic . They may run down the line the same time!

It seems my 2014 Mustang was built on January 28ththen moved outside and has been waiting on Transportation since then. I’mconcerned because the snow might be piled up on the new black paint. It had a DeliveryETA of 02/15/13 but every week my dealership keeps saying “should be next week”.This has been the whole month of February with a status of “MiscellaneousTransit Delay”. Anyone have the same issue? PS: I'm in Nevada has any West Coast people gotten deliveries?

I'm in Washington State, but the BNSF route that delivers here does not appear to go down into Nevada. You can see my dates in my sig.

Supposedly mine is in UT awaiting pickup and delivery. Dealer (Gaudin Ford) said either today or tomorrow - hopefully Deysha can chime in on the lastest ETA (sent you a PM on Thursday Deysha).

I'm in Vegas...Ordered 01/16/13, built 02/11/13, shipped 02/21/13.

Well, it's sad to say but I'm almost glad to hear your situation. Mine is built since the 7th of Feb. with a dealer ETA of Feb. 21st. I'm still waiting and according to Deysha it's still sitting in the yard.

Since my car was supposed to be finished today, my girls got me a little birthday cake with a milk chocolate car on top. Not sure how to upload pics, but I will try...

Looks yummy! Happy bday! How old are ya now? Over the hill yet? Haha. I won't lie I was doing well with waiting. All of a sudden I am kinds losing my marbles a bit. Luckily I have been tattooing 6 days a week keeping my mind occupied... Though having a C&D with the gt500 on the cover near by does make my mind wander a bit... opps. Vroooom!!!!!

Well - my b-day was 2/25, but my GT was supposedly born today. So the cake was for...uhhhh...my car. :bday

Now, if my GT had joey8's build date (2/25), THAT would have been really cool!
