Tukkie,

You don't even know. You don't even know that you don't know. Once you get her, you're gonna lovvvvvve her! I keep having olfactory hallucinations - did I just smell my interior??

Guys, i'm dying here in I just got an update from Deysha and from my understanding mine is still sitting at the plant since Feb. 7th waiting to be delivered. I gotta admit, it's been a rough two weeks hoping for this arrival to happen and now it looks like i'll be biting the rest of my nails this weekend hoping for more answers on Monday. I think this is more nerve wracking then the moment I was waiting at the altar for my wife to appear At least Deysha updates us although she's loaded of requests. A call out to you Deysha, sure beats staying in complete darkness.

I ordered a 2014 Mustang GT premium, ruby red, 5 speed, 401A package black/cashmere stripe. 3.73 rear axle, comfort pack, 19 inch nickel rims, shaker pro, and pedistal spoiler on 2/1/13. window sticker posted earlier this week. dealer said that production has been bumped up a week due to better than expected productivity. Hoping to take delivery in the next 2-3 weeks. 1ZVBP8CF5E5212077 is the vin. After trading in my 2010 mustang GT, and A plan pricing, i'll end up lowering my payments and get another 105 horses!

Have you PMd Deysha (the Ford Customer Service Rep) with your order number and dealer name? I had a VIN in about 3 weeks and a window sticker in about 4 weeks, so you should have both, and your window sticker will show the build date. Of course, your dealer's allocation of Mustangs could have something to do with it.

dude im in the same boat you are!! I ordered 1/24 and still nothing (since i last pmed deysha about a week and 1/2 ago) People ordered about a week to 2 weeks after me and already got a vin and build date. Kind of puzzled as to why but as i have read there never a rhyme or reason. Thank god its still about 30 degrees and salt all over the roads here in northern jersey or else id be real pissed. As long as i get it by beg. mid april ill be happy! Lets hope deysha has some good news for me.

It all comes down to order allocation. I ordered mid January, but my dealer didn't have any January or February allocation. He does have March allocation, so my car should be built in March and be here before the end of April. Still no VIN or scheduled build date - I bug Deysha every 2 weeks or so! Perfect for me, as we will have snow well into March and the roads will be covered with salt and cinders until April. The new GT won't see anything but nice weather & clean roads - crappy weather is what my '94 F150 is for.

anyway to tell if your dealer has allocation from the order forms they give you when you order the car? or do you just have "trust" what they sayy?

I would just ask them when they have the allocation for your car. They should tell you, as I'd hope they'd understand you want to track the build.

Hi Crusty, I am by no means knowledgeable, but my 2 cents from things I have read over the months is that the GT 500 had some issue with the cold weather and the GT 500 tires cracking from being stored outside at the Plant as they did not have space to keep the tires inside. This is only from my recollection of something I read somewhere months ago. So maybe they will get the tires in slightly warmer weather? I hope I am not posting bad information, but didn't want to not say something I remembered reading. Have other GT 500 s been delivered lately? Best Wishes

Respectfully, I'm not a car expert but other than cosmetics what would be the purpose of deleting the spoiler?
