well i kinda know why i have a delay now of getting my sticker and having a 4 week wait before its built, the plant is down for a couple of weeks. i put a post on the ford motor co flat rock assembly plant page asking what they are building and the response i got was: Ford Motor Company - Flat Rock Assembly Plant None! Production is down for two more weeks. really bummed, but at least i know. trying to find out why now.

Wow I'm so confused now. Ford customer service says its scheduled to build and ETA of 4/7/14. Web site shows vehicle in transit and an ETA of 4/7/14. Dealer says ETA of 5/1/14

Now everything shows. I know this as my customer's 2014 GT500 showed up on our site early last year even though it was sold. Nothing to worry about as it was sold.

Its just a stupid way Ford shows inventory now. I don't like it if you ask me. When you call, they will say the same thing. Just wanted to alleviate your concern & worry.
Ya, I found that out the hard way.....I drove 45 minutes to a dealer who listed a Mustang on their site with a glass roof so I could see one, when I got there it was still 3 weeks out from arriving. From then on out I called before making the drive.

I would listen to Ford and your dealer over the web site.....it is a test site after all.

I just looked at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant Facebook page. There's a memo posted there saying that they are tentatively shut down for THREE weeks. They are scheduled to return to work on 4/14.

Getting ready for job 2? Don't they typically shut down for a few weeks between job 1 and job 2?

What is job 2?

Never mind - I looked it up.

I would be surprised if this were the case with only a couple of months left until the '15 changeover. Might have something to do with the Fusion, though.

Talked to my sales guy just now and he said the car is likely rolling into the city TODAY and barring any unforseen holdups, the car should/could be at the dealer by the end of the week!!!!!!

Just got off the phone with ford customer care and they verified ETA of 4/6/14. While on the phone I received 2 emails. Deysha also verified ETA of 4/6/14 while the dealership still says 5/1/14. We shall see what happens. I'm going with Deysha

Tue - Thurs would be good ,,,no snow.
Yours was loaded onto a rail car today, Fordsaregr8. It’ll ship out soon.

It is still at the plant, 14gt14. It should get loaded soon and ship, since the weather has gotten better.

At the plant, coolflea216. The info from your dealer is correct.

Let me check into that, 2014GHIGGT. PM me with your VIN.

It was moved yesterday, boatstang14. It’ll ship out soon. The ETA is still 4/14/14. Also, orders are scheduled based the following criteria:
-the priority code rating
-the dealer's allocation for each production week
-the ordered option content
-the receipt date
The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. Therefore, the date is the last factor.

Bummer, tricia told me on monday it was in transit and now today its still at the plant. Ugg, as long as it gets here before april 18th I dont care. I went out and got all the bank stuff ready since I figured it would be here today. I guess that explains why the dealer isnt calling me.
