The dealer told me that delivery should be in late September and now I'm told by the builder that it's gonna be December?! Really, 6 months from order to delivery? That's almost DOUBLE the worst case scenario of 12 weeks that I was told when I signed the paperwork.
Has anybody else had to wait 6 months for their Shelby GT500 build?
I was really hoping to be able to spend some time enjoying my new ride before the ancient aliens return on 12,21,2012 and turn us all into mindless, zombie slaves!

Getting close!
Not set in stone, but expected window sticker on 7/25, and ETA of 8/3. That puts the build date like two days before delivery. My dealership is about 50 miles from Flat Rock. I assume it is delivered by motor carrier.
Thank you Deysha. You have been very helpful and IMO are a wonderful asset too Ford. Hopefully I don't need to ask anymore of you at this point, but even if I do, I know you will answer quickly and with better information than anyone at the dealership. This not a slap at the dealership, just praise for your great service on here.
So here is too Grandpa Sam getting his "toy" in a couple of weeks and enjoying the drive again, as opposed to something to get me from point A to B!

On 7/13 I got my VIN and a build week of 7/30.
On 7/17 I got a build date of 7/30 and an ETA of 8/7
On 7/20 I called SVT, and was told my car was "In Production" and would be built anytime between 7/20 and 7/26. ETA was now moved to 8/9.
My window sticker is not online yet though, so I called Ford Customer Service today to find out why it isn't there.
I was told my car is still in production, but now with no ETA. I then called SVT, and they told me my car is NOT in production. The build day is back to 7/30, no ETA on delivery, and still no window sticker.
Any idea what is going on? How can my car go from "in production" to "not in production"? And it had an ETA, now it doesn't? What gives?

Can you see it on the link I posted? I would like to be able to access the website that would list my info on my window sticker when I get my VIN. Do you have the website address if it is different than the one I posted?
