Yup, I've had the VIN for a few weeks now, always says not in the system.
Ordered 6/18 had the VIN by 6/26 , was told the sticker would be up by 7/15. If its delayed, it's delayed, but I'd like to know its moving forward.

The best time is before it schedules. Your dealer can still submit a change after it receives a VIN, but all changes must be approved first.
It’s usually pretty accurate, Gniac. However, all dates are subject to change.

not to double post, but I'm really hoping the delay in getting my VIN is because after the order I decided to add the Brembo's after I heard that it wasn't just brakes, but full suspension and stability control/tcs tuning changes w/ the brembo cars...
granted it's only been two days since I *should* have gotten the window sticker up, but I hope that's why.

OK, now I'm concerned. Ford has changed the stipe & interior accent color for the blue stripes on the white car.
The Build & Price color combo was:
White car with grabber blue tape stripes & DIB striped interior.
NOW the B&P color combo is switched:
White car with DIB tape stripes & grabber blue interior stripes.
My DORA doesn't specify what color blue the stripes are; it just says: "leather w/ racing stripe black w/ blue." The outside is described as "85B sonic blue tape stripe."
Has anybody ordered & received a white car with blue stripes? What color combos did you get inside & out?

****!!! i thought once the car is built it would be reassuring, the wait is getting realy nerv wracking...
im sorry if i abuse youre infinite kindness deysha but i will ask one more question before the 27/07. if the car is built in time, in my case tomorow does the eta at the dealer pretty accurate??

Hi Deysha,
I just got off the phone with my local dealer and he said that Ford might cancel some of the recent orders for the GT500 because demand has far exceeded there production capability. Can you check your sources and see if there is any truth to this information? If this is true, can you find out what the cutoff date is?

Hey all. After a couple months of waiting my dealership finally received my new Mustang GT california convertible. At the table finishing up the deal when i ran out of time and had to get home for commitments with the family. A sales manager calls up and says that they incorrectly priced the car and will need to charge me $1200 more. The order is ofcourse in writing, but technically non-binding. Basically he said take it or leave it he would sell the car to someone else. Thought I'd get the group's feedback on what I should do. Disapointing to say the least. Thoughts?

wow, what a great guy your salesman must be. i don't think i could sleep knowing i got screwed over like that. i feel your frustration... i'm ok with dealerships making money or even marking up items but not after a deal is struck. i would walk
