Deysha, the dealership contacted someone at Ford, and has the correction submitted. They are saying that it might not make it on this car, and that might cost me a 3 week wait, or my car with a missing item.
I am supposed to hear Monday, and may see what you can help with depending on what they com back with.

I got tired of dealer B jerking me around. So we cancelled the order & bought this 427 vert instead.
With all the rebates & discounts, the price was just over $75K out the door. Really close to the price of the Shelby we ordered.

Actually, we haven't pulled THAT trigger yet, but I'm very close. We went and looked at / test drove the 427 Saturday. My wife loves the car almost as much as I do BUT since we have a 4-year old, my wife says that we need a car with a back seat. And we all know, happy wife=happy life.
I'll see how things go with my dealer on Monday and go from there.

I guess the salesman at my dealership is a White Knight. I purchase last year from him a Boss 302. The dealership is in North-West Ohio I am in South-Western Pa. A 300 mile drive one way. The Boss 302 deal went so great & I was so happy with the treatment from this dealership that when I heard about the 2013 Shelby I called the White Knight salesmen in Ohio.
Explain that I wanted 2013 Shelby at MSRP and only wanted two options 821A and Car cover. Joe, the White Knight salesman told me that he could order one. But, was not sure when it would be built. I told him I could wait long as I knew it would be built. He assured me they had allocation.
Order the car on 5-29-12
VOC from Ford on 5-30-12
Dora Accepted on 7-11-12
Vin Number on 7-18-12
Build Week of 8-13-12
Waiting on Build Date and Day
We agreed on the MSRP and had the dealershp put in writing with $1000.00 deposit. This was all done by email and USPS snail mail.
I had Joe agree to update me once a week. Which Joe does every Friday But, one. That week he called on a Saturday instead of emailing the update. Reason being he was in the Cleveland Clinic for a minor health problem. Reason, I know my Sister works there and was one of his nurse's.
What a small world we live in. This dealership is not like most dealerships. I tried to deal with many local and Pittsburgh base dealerships. They don't care about the customer all they care about is the money. It is a shame that I feel more comfortable with a dealership 300 miles from home. Waiting for the day the 2013 Shelby GT-500 Grabber Blue, Black Stripes, 821A & Car Cover is parked next to the wife's 2012 Boss 302, Comp Orange W/Black Stripes. Hang in there guys complain to Ford after you get your Shelby.

Deysha, PM sent asking for actual build date and to check if the change that someone dropped, got re-added.
I'm assuming that they will issue a new window sticker if they catch this in time?

I am using the "z" plan from a family member, and was told the PIN is only good for three days. I would like to have the number before the car comes in (want to pick up as soon as possible), but if I have the PIN on Thursday and the car doesn't arrive until Monday or later I'm #####.
Since I am 50 miles from the plant and the car will most likely be on a motor carrier, how soon can I know for sure it is coming on a specific day?
