IMO if I could afford the Shelby It'd be well worth the wait. I'd mostly definitely wait. You'll be driving around in the Boss thinking it could have been a Shelby.

I ordered w/ TP originally, thought about it, canceled that option a few weeks later, so just the 821A perf.

The order, VIN, sticker dates in my sig have held true. My build is supposedly next week, it has only been moved 1 day so far.

If you ordered 03/07, and have no VIN or confirmation, I would start asking questions about dealer allocation - relevant thread:

First question I asked my dealer before ordering - he confirmed 2 allocations with none yet ordered or assigned at the time of my order date. I hope this has no bearing on your order and you'll add a Shelby to your stable soon though!

Hey man, I decided to stick it out but no mustang yet. Next week is the ETA. If i remember correctly, ur boss was 1 of the first made but was sittin at the factory for a while right? How'd that end up?

 

Yep, it was made 3/10 and sat until 5/3 when I got it. Finally, but worth the wait. Its fun to drive for sure. 700 miles and starting to open its lungs a little.

Glad you stuck it out, I almost didnt either. The hold was killer was tempted to just order a GT to see if it beat it here, lol.
