2013 Ordered/Built/Delivered Thread
#422
The last ETA I had was May 1 and the dealer called on April 23 that it had been delivered so you may get a pleasant surprise too! I hope so! I wanted to let ya'll know that I am LOVING the V6! The weather has improved and I finally had a chance to enjoy some topless driving and IT ROCKS!! I am very happy with the color. It looked SO SWEET last eveing at dusk! Driving her is quite the change from my Focus SES Wagon! It will be so hard to park her next fall when the weather turns.
Deysha,
I also wanted to make sure you know how much your updates and information help make the wait much more bearable and how appreciated you are here on TMS! Thanks again! I know you listen to a LOT of whining!

Just the one I posted in this thread when I stopped in to see her the day she arrived at the dealers. My son tried to get some nice ones but they were disappointing. Maybe this weekend.

Howdy Deysha,
I was hoping you could find a moment to check on the status of my order? I've noticed another GT500 on the thread that was ordered after mine and they already have a VIN and build date. Of course, my dealer knows nothing so we continue to seek guidance from the Goddess of Customer Service!
Thanks In Advance

1) options - you're completely loaded with recaros & track pack, etc, there may be a backlog in some options. The schedulers will schedule what they can build with what they have.
2) Dealer priority. A mystery I have not been able to unravel, despite having such a number, which is not the highest I've seen.
3) You are correct, Deysha is a Goddess.
I can only hope that these dates have meaning until I see the car, standard disclaimers and all.

Hey Outtaphase,
I was referring to your order, but in a good way; you see I am EXTREMELY jealous! LOL! I hope you're right and I may hear soon. Either way, I expect to hear way more from Deysha than my dealer. Good luck with your order and I hope it doesn't get delayed.

Here is what I'm planning to order:
GT Premium 6spd manual Sterling Gray with Dark Charcoal interior
Comfort Package
Security Package
GT Coupe Accessory package 4 (pedestal spoiler)
19 Luster Nickel Wheels
Over the Top Racing Stripe ($475) Thoughts on this?? Aftermarket?
This will be my first Mustang, although of course I've been a fan all my life. I will not be doing any type of racing. It will be my daily driver when I don't want to drive my F150.

Just Joined, been reading this forum for a couple months since I ordered a new '13 GT Prem for my wife.
It has been quite helpful in manageing delivery expectations. We tried to buy a '12 automatic in Feb, and there were none in the Twin Cities area, so we had to order. Aww shucks we have to settle for the new stellar hood and a few more ponies under it. But, it has been a while since the order and we still don't have a delivery. Hoping the magic can be worked on the VIN I recently got to let my wife know when it will be here.

Also, welcome to the forum. If you haven't already you can send you order number, and dealers name to Deysha (Ford Customer Rep. here). She will track your car, and keep you in the loop on where it's at. She's great. Congrats on the new ride, and post pics when it's home.

Just sent off a private message to Deysha. She seems like a great help to all. It has been since like the beginning of March, but I am sure our local dealer is not high on the priority list (Just a small local dealer here outside of the Twin Cities Metro). But, I really like the personal service the local guys offer. So, I would rather wait on the little guy, than get a cold practiced hand shake from the high volume box shops.
My Wife was driving a '97 bird almost the same color, love that modular v8. It is a really nice really clean and garaged 5 months a year, but after 15 years in the same ride, she deserves a new one.
Yeah, things will be very nice in the house once her new car is in.

So my dealer called today and said the car should be here any day now.
It's like three weeks from the ETA Deysha gave me. Is my dealer crazy? Or did I give Deysha the wrong info? The VIN and window sticker she gave me even has my last name on it so I'm sure it's mine.

Hello, everyone. I'm new to the world of Mustangs and, of course, new to this forum. I placed an order for my first Mustang last Thursday, April 26. I ordered a V6 Premium Convertible with the "Mustang Club of America Edition" Package (Group 203A), Automatic Trans in Candy Red. I say that realizing that quite a few folks on here seem to no think that highly of either the V6 or the Automatic Transmission options.
Niiiiice, ixamnis!! Congrats! PM me with your dealer's name and order number so I can help you track it.
Picked up my Boss this afternoon. #184 GHIG. I would like to take the time to Thank a few people on this board. 1st Deysha, THANK you so very much for all that you do here for us. I really wish there was someway we could give back to you for a change. There would be more bald people here if it hadnt been for your updates. Also, big thanks to Jeff(05FordGt) for taking time to talk to some of us at times and answering questions as well as 5 oh Brian. Thanks!
Congrats!!
Mine has yet to be built. Deysha said maybe in 2 weeks. We shall see. Maybe one day we can get the two of them together and get some photos. 2 GHIG should make for a lot of green.
DO you ever go to the pavilions on Saturday nights? Once in a while I'll take my Challenger down there.

I sure do! It arrived in Dixiana, SC yesterday. Almost there, Hellbound!!
Howdy Deysha,
