In 2011 the glass roof could not be had with Stone Interior. They fixed that in 2012 because they made the entire interior black with only Stone seats and door panel inserts. Maybe that is a glitch in the ordering system because 2012 and 2013 seem to be identical inside.

I've been reading this forum for the past few months and decided to finally sign up.

I've been considering purchasing my first mustang and test drove a 2012 a few months ago. After reading the boards, I decided I wanted to wait until the 2013's came out or else I'd probably regret purchasing a 2012 so close to the 2013 release date. I think the wait paid off because that Deep Impact Blue is awesome!

Can anyone help me with pricing, I'm looking at the following:
GT Premium
Track Package
Glass Roof
Comfort Package
Reverse Sensing Package

My dealer contacted the district office and it was confirmed, at least as of right now, no glass roof with a stone interior and a 400A option pack. Makes no sense to me, but it is done, so I will have to live with the interior color!

Hey guys. I've been reading this thread for a few days and took the advice and ordered my 2013 GT today! It was so easy that I cannot wait until it arrives.

I'm trying to figure out when I would expect to see my Type 2, #20 priority order...

Details:

P8F - GT Convertible Premium
UA - Black color
4W - Black Leather
86C - Cloth roof... black!
443 - 6 speed auto
53B - comfort pkg.
944 - pedestal spoiler

Retail: $42,295
Invoice: $39,691

X-plan should keep it under 40k!

My black stallion shall be born...

Hey guys,

After much consideration and thought, I decided against a 13 Shelby. I almost pulled the trigger on a 12 but the dealer changed the price we agreed on last minute and I just gave up. I know the GT will still be an amazing car and I'm excited. This (other) dealer is really taking care of me and is giving me excellent service and pricing. If anyone is looking to order in the southern California area please let me know!

I ordered:

GT premium
Manual
Deep Impact Blue
Nav
Backup cam
Track pack
Recaros
Reverse sensing

Was it the wait, the fear of the price or just decided you didn't need it. I am about 1 mm away from pulling the trigger on a 12 GT500. I find myself falling into Ford's incentive trap as I fear the 13 price increase.. I'm scared, I see dead presidents and they are leaving my pocket.

Relax guys, we got a week or 2 to go before we see any movement on 13 retail orders. Deysha's very busy. Let her focus her efforts on the last of the 2012 builds.

It was the price and the fact I didn't NEED it. And I was just so frustrated with snake dealers. I went to one I trusted and ordered a GT. I'm gettin married in June and the extra money is better spent towards a nicer house. Tryin to do the adult thing hehe. My fiancée is sure happier too! Especially since I promised I'll teach her to dive stick

Nice, I don't NEED one either as my current mustang is pretty nice but this is my chance to get THE car I want until we upgrade our house. So I know exactly where you are coming from. Luckily my wife is scared to even touch my cars because she knows I'll freak out with even a smudge...lol. I might have some issues but she deals with it...lol

hey guys, do the accessories in package come already painted and installed or does the dealer have to do all that, and if the dealer has to do it about how much $ are we talking about? (spoiler, sides scoops and the louvers)

Everything comes painted and installed. That is why the orders require code 31S. That's an upfitters code for where the car has to go to get the items installed after its built.

Hey Jeff, question relating to accessory install. If I buy a grille, and decklid spoiler through ford separate from my car, would you guys do the install/painting (of spoiler) after the fact? If so do you have a ballpark estimate of how much it would cost separate from the items themselves, for install?

Hey bud, the dealer could do the painting and install. For install, its all based on labor per hour. If its just the grill and spoiiler, I'd do it myself, as its not too hard to do. You have to remove the original spoiler and maybe have to drill a few more holes (I have not removed a spoiler from a 2010+ car yet so I don't know if more holes are needed), but the grill is failry easy. As for painting, the dealer can do this too. To give you an idea on labor, we are at $90/hour for repairs and such. Paint, we don't have a body shop so I can't give an estimate on it.
