I believe their cost is quite a bit less than this.

Invoice is what the dealer pays for the car. Im not trying to be an a$$, just saying it makes ABSOLUTELY no sense. The only people that get $1000s under invoice are Ford employees and corporate takes the hit, not the dealer. Or if your buying an out going model and theyre just trying to rid their stock of it.

If you go to truecar.com you can see what the actual dealer cost is for a car. They don't have the 2013 up their yet, but for the 2012, you'll see that the dealer cost is over $1000 less than invoice.

That's different. That's a customer incentive. Ford is paying me $500 to buy the car in that case. Actually, the dealer is offering $1000 under invoice plus the $500 incentive which means I'm getting it for $1500 under invoice.
