I love the 3.55 actually but I didn't think dealer stock could be better than a 3.31? Maybe I misread.

yep, manuals are 3.31, 55, & 73.
auto is 3.15:1.. but since the 1st gear in the auto is lower than the man, it's equivalent to a 3.59, in 1st anyway.

Thought it will take me alot of looking around for a good price, one dealership gave me a quote for $500 over invoice with no rebates/incentives ,
as the salesman stated there's none. Still I think thats a great deal and will go with it this Sunday. Around $36,037-$36,167 Total.

 

i got an OTD price here in CA of $33,100 after $500 rebate, can i benefit with with an X-plan at all?

Everyone, I am new to this and I'm planning on ordering a 2013 Mustang GT within the next couple of days. I've been reading through all of the posts, but I'm having trouble putting it all together to figure out exactly what I need to do to get the best price. The dealer is offering me $1000 under invoice plus the $500 rebate, so $1500 total under invoice. Is there anything else I need to watch out for in terms of hidden fees, and getting the car quickly, etc. Also, I want to trade in my car, but I'm not sure how this works when I have a car on order. I've already got an offer from the dealer for the car today, but is there a way they can offer me a future price assuming I don't go over a certain number of miles or something like that? I truly appreciate any advice, and once I'm experienced I will definitely offer it back.

also yes you can get a trade-in price locked in for when the car arrives
