Surprised that CS doesn't have stripes on it. Maybe they're still trying to get them right

That is a GT/CS but it doesn't have the stripe. The colors they come in are below:

Performance White
Deep Impact Blue
Race Red
Black
Sterling Grey
Ingot Silver

Stripes are either Silver or Black depending on the color car. Certain colors get only a certain color stripe.

I was thinking that was a CS but I don't see the stripes. If I remember right, the CS comes in all colors except red candy which is my favorite color.

Not all colors, but a few. See my post just above yours. We posted less than a minute apart.

Translation: Someone there didn't want to order one until they got rid of their 12's

The cut-off for ordering a '12 was extended from 12/23 to early Jan, that is correct. but that had no effect on ordering a '13. I ordered one on 12/16, got a trade-in price on my '10. Either your dealer didn't want to order one or really didn't know what they were doing.

If your dealer ordered your car as a type 2 to speed up delivery, you have forfeited incentive protection. Also, if your dealer doesn't have the items I noted above, then they can't successfully apply for incentive protection for you. Have them print up the rules for incentive protection in the C&I Announcement page at FMCdealer - they should know what & where that is.
Good to know.. thanks Brian

Hmm, really diggin the front clip of the new CS, but have no interest in the wing or side scoop things. Or the stripes for that matter.

Hey Brian, one more question,
They ordered my car (type 1) ten days before I left a deposit, therefore the DORA says 12/16/11 & the purchase agreement is dated 12/26/11.. if they write up a new purchase agreement dated this week would that get incentive lock-in? or would they have to cancel everything and start over?

If the current incentives are good till 4/2/12, it's 100% inevitable that my car will arrive in that lull right after they expire & before they renew them..

Interesting...I didn't know there were two dates involved in this... if this is true that would be awesome! I didn't have to put a deposit down so if this is true I will be heading to the dealer with a check! I sent an email to my sales guy yesterday to see if he has suggestions on locking it in

yeah usually they'ld be the same. did they order yours as a stock order or retail? i had to put down a deposit and finalize the paperwork to lock in the trade-in price for my old one. the price of the '13 of course is TBD but it's x-plan so what ever it is, it is
