Please give us good news Jeff and tell us the guides are out today. I have a Boss 302 burning a hole in my pocket.

Hey bud, no news yet I'm not at work yet (using the cool TMS Android App). I checked this morning on my phone & the price list was still not up. Though they put up the 2013 Escape prices. Let me double check right now. Be right back

Anyone that waited on the order/price guides in '11, did it go this long into the new year before that stuff was out?

yea but 2012 wasnt really a "new design." I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Not really sure the '13 is a new enough design to warrant this much of a delay, though. After all the 'redesign' isn't supposed to happen until the next calendar year or later. I'm relatively new to the process of waiting for the production, pricing and ordering of a model year to begin, but when people like 05fordgt are surprised at the delay, that tells me something isn't what it should be. It's ford's prerogative of course to open that stuff up whenever they want to, but there seem to be a lot of impatient buyers waiting on them to get things going. My thought is that they're not set yet on pricing and are still figuring out what they can charge. I might be wrong of course. Still odd that it would take this much longer.

My main issue is that the Canadian price guide was out a month ago....so they already know what they are going to charge....they just aren't publishing it!

That's true, but is the Canadian price always a 1:1 ratio with the U.S. price?

The Canadian prices are always higher than the American prices

Ex: A ford gt starts at $38,699 in Canada and a gt starts at $29-33,000 in the U.S

Options seem to be pretty much 1:1.1 Example: American '12 Glass Roof option was $1995, Canadian '13 Glass Roof is $2200.

The car itself is another story.

I am unfamiliar with the conversion rate between Canadian and american dollars, but perhaps they're trying to squeeze a bit more from US buyers? I really don't know. I'm just bouncing ideas around.
