Shant, Congrats Dude. Now I need some more pics. So get out there and get 'em. I'm still waiting on the Wifey's ride, but I know it's getting closer to home. As of now we're at the 05/02/ETA.

I should get my vin this week. I really don't understand how Ford does business I placed my order on 2/9 and am getting nowhere, its like Ford doesn't care about you or your car it might be time to go to the dark side. In any event can someone give me info on how to check on build date and delivery date once I have the vin. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated, down in the dumps waiting

Hi Deysha,
I sure could use some good news waiting on build info since 2/9, see many people getting their cars who ordered weeks after me. What gives with Ford do they not want customers?
Thanks

Edit. Sorry for the double pix. Don't know how to erase it on the iPhone.

I do not know which is worse. Your situation, waiting on a build, or mine, GT Premium built on 3/20 and STILL sitting in the factory parking lot with some sort of hold. No one can tell me when the hold will be removed and the GT shipped. GRRRRRRRRRR!

Mine was built on 4/3. Last update I got (last week) was that it was still waiting to be shipped. The saga continues....

It's been said as many times as people have ordered cars: the ordering/build/delivery process is anything but straightforward. Their allotment system is confusing, even to the salesmen who sell these cars. If you expect the process to be like any other order, such as a dvd from amazon, you're going to be disappointed. I assure you, Ford has no desire to **** off their customers. They are doing what they need to do to the cars so that when they get to the customers, they will be what the customers want. Would you rather they rush you the car before doing a QC check on it, and find a fault with the transmission--which you find yourself by having it start skipping gears on you? My dealer is a rather small one in the Houston Region--one of the largest in Ford's network, according to my dealer's regional manager. I probably am not going to get the veryveryveryveryvery first GT500 that comes off the line. I'm ok with that, because I know it will get to me when it gets to me, after Ford has made **** sure it is a vehicle worth selling to a customer.
Try a little patience.
