On any car! My mom loves paddle-shift on her car. Lol. It's so you can still drive in heels.

Why exactly? Ferraris and Porsches have them. Why not keep your hands on the wheel while shifting?

They also have dual clutch trannys. IMO, paddles, buttons, whatever the method on a regular automatic tranny is nothing more than a gimmick.

I think manual option in an auto trans is a good thing. But the toggle buttons in shifter are no good. Paddles are way better. At lease should be like traditional auto-manual transmission let driver pull/push shifter to change gear. That feels real. But buttons make it even worse than video game.

Lucky us, the MT-82 remains.

I'm not supposed to be driving in heels?

Ford has extended the '12 Mustang order banks to Jan 12, 2012 (they initially said they would close on Dec 23, 2011). So, anyone that prefers the '12 over the '13 has that much longer to place their order.

Is 2/27/12 still the start for 13's?

I would have been highly surprised had this been replaced with something else, given the remaining time left of this generation Mustang. Seems that would have not been feasible from a cost standpoint.

translation: "ford" oh crap, the new mustang is not getting the buzz we were hoping for...why did we screw up and change the front end...we better build more 12's...sales for 13/14 might not be pretty.....
