Where you located? I'd give you a spin if you were near
Hey Sky Hye, I'm located in Md, I think I'm pretty far from you but thanks a ton for the offer! I have read the same info about the oil too.

Why would the dealer honor free oil changes on 5w50 full syn on a non SVT car and not on an SVT car? Is it the frequency of oil changes?

5w50 full syn is the factory fill for the GT500 and the Boss.

They just wanna make money. They hassled me too and I wouldn't budge. They finally did it no charge.

Exactly it's the same thing but I'm not going to deal with them again because this is the second time they botched a sale for me in less then a year. Very shady sales practices at this dealer. For all I know they didn't order my car so they could try to force me into on they had.

Unfortunate story. I love my TrackPack/Recaro car. I'm not lucky enough to get to track it at all yet but I will let you know know when I do. I love this thing. I just got the oil changed as well. I hit 5500 miles. I made sure to let them know to put the correct amount of oil in. Then they came back out and asked me if I wanted to skimp on getting the 5W50. I was like, Really guy?!! Oh and it was a free of charge one. Won't be going back there again. I will however be hitting the Nurburgring next late spring/summer once the weather gets nice in Germany and I don't have to have the M/S tires on her. Woohoo!

That's a typical experience, sadly. It seems you have to be on top of things when you go to ford. So sad, I was contemplating my next sports car bein a Shelby but the cust service is a bit lacking.

Can't wait to hear about how it feels on the track!
Seems as though dealers are still so shady/crappy now. I worked in service As a mech years ago so I know what dealers try to do, I guess I expected customer service to be better by now
