Hello, can somebody with a 2013 track pack, recaro ,premium gt please post what the sticker on the car says for gross vehicle weight? I'm trying to transfer my current tags and need to know if its 3700+ or less. I'm not looking for curb weight. Thanks

 

I can't possibly be under 3700 lbs. The GVW has to include the curb weight of the car (roughly 3600 lbs) plus 4 people in the car and some luggage in the trunk. That probably totals up to around 4200-4400 lbs.

 

That's what I'm hoping, my current car is a Infiniti g sedan so it's in the 3700+ class

 

I'd think the DOT or your tag office would know this....to prevent folks from trying to rip them off in saying a car (or truck) has a lesser GVW then it actually does.

 

Doesn't say my weight on the sticker anywhere. Am I missing it?

 

Wrong sticker, hes talking about the one on the door jamb.

 

It's definitely not less than 3700lbs... The curb weight of the car is at least 3600.

I love it. The dual zone is $hit but the car is a beast. I track it regularly and it's been performing really well. The tires tend to overheat after a few hard laps but I can always spray water mist on them.

Edit: also keep in mind that the motor oil for this bad boy is $15 a quart and you'll need 8.5 quarts. I just replaced mine at 5k. It can get costly

$15 a quart? Where are you buying it? Only place that had 5W-50 locally was the Ford dealership and it was only $9 there.

 

thats awesome ! I havent ordered yet but will soon as I am trying to sell my current car, I know I only have a few more weeks left to get a 13 ordered.
one dealer I'm looking at has lifetime free oil changes to new vehicles purchased from them and they said 5w50 ford synthetic will be honored as long as its not an svt car. I have yet to drive a gt with the 3.73s and recaros but I'm drooling thinking about it

 

Only place u found it was online. Ford laughed at me and said no such oil exists. Idiots.

 

They told me Shelby and boss also use the same oil. Go figure. I have a maintenance plan and they tried to make me pay extra for the oil. Had to give em crap and they finally said ok.

Well I guess my dealer should have know that, I put it in on Tuesday but they didn't prodded it yet for some reason. Looks like I lose out on a cool car and they lose a sale. Fml
