Our 2011 V6 Premium was odered on 10/26/2010 and for some reason is scheduled to be built the week of 1/10/2011, which is a major disappointment since the salesperson and his GSM were advised by the Ford Zone Rep that if ordered by end of October that it would only take 6-8 weeks to arrive.

Along similar lines Our 2011 GT was built 11/12/10 and went to Ramp 51 from there it went to ramp 5P with a ETA of 11/25/10 Now the Dealer fins out it is being help there for "Quality Checks" i have seen this in other theards around here and wondered if anyone recalls how long this check might take and what they are doing ? are they checking clutch/flywheel bolts or just fender lines and paint ?

My dealer just called as was hesitant in placing my order, because HE mis-read the new Order guide. I'm getting 4W. confirmed.order will be finally placed in the AM.

Hate to break it to you, but interior "4W" is Charcoal Leather, and it is 100% monotone. 4W has been available in Mustang GT's for several years now (I have it in my '07 GT) and it continues to be solid Charcoal - not two toned.
There is no "4T" interior.
The New Lava Red interior is code "4Z" and is described by Ford as:
— Black interior environment with Lava Red doors inserts & leather seat inserts.
— Available on V6 and GT Premium Arrays
— Available on V6 and GT Premium Arrays

'Kzinti' started this stuff back in 05, kept me reasonably sane during 'the wait' on my 06...got my window sticker 2 weekes before build (ford now offers this directly - thanks to Kzinti's work yrs ago!)
looks like 'cyberdman' is now tracking a lot of mustangs for folks over there- cool to see that service being offered again!

That depends on a lot of factors that we don't have room to discuss here (at least, in detail), but just to keep it short, first deliveries to dealers will probably start in early March 2011, IMO.

Were I charged the US tax rate with the same pay/exemptions, the tax would be substantially less; enough to not only pay for an equivalent private health care plan but have a good chunk of change remaining.
Not that I begrudge our healthcare system; just wanted to keep it real.

Thx Brian.my bad, I mean't Z. Just back from Autoway. Threw the details about the Glassroof construction in their face while their too :-) . They "Claim" however that the W code is "universal" and that it will / does, generate a "sub"-order based on configuration, and that it will produce Charcoal w/Lava Inserts on the seats. and that the "Z" will generate LAVA w/ Black Inserts. Both will generate the LAVA insterts in door panels. Anyway I called them yesterday in time to HOLD my order from the normal Tuesday Input to FORD They have a week to get it clarified now.
