I don't know about that, I was talking to them about ordering a 2012 GT and quickly asked if they were getting any Bosses in. They seemed pretty fair on the regular GT prices and discounting them to invoice or below without much of a problem. I guess if they are making 20k+ on 6 cars they should have some wiggle room on the other cars.

Canadian Order Guide is up on the dealer site, but not the Pricing Guide yet. I would expect the American one up shortly.

Can anybody post the Canadian Order Guide here?

Thx.

Canadian cars meet the European needs (metric gauges and no skip-shift) better - equal price assumed, of course.

Is that correct, no skip-shift on Canadian cars? Would this have any impact on canned tunes?

AFAIK , skip shift is still on manual GTs.

Unfortunately, I cannot post the guide because I am an employee I am bound by Ford's confidentiality rules. Hopefully a Canadian dealer will post it.

I will say that most of the changes from last year are the addition of Lava Red, elimination of Grey, the addition of GT appearance packages 1,2,5 and 6, the V6 appearance package and the MCA V6 edition. In keeping with last year the Canadian GT starts roughly where the Premium does in the US, ie no cloth seats, etc.

The price list hasn't been released yet, so while I have my own thoughts and theories from my sources that already got shot down by some, I'm just going to wait before specualting publicly on it.

It also says "two way adjustable headrests". Does that mean we can finally move them back a bit or do they count up and down as two ways?

Differences that I see (for those who don't feel like poring over the PDF) (BOSS and V6 stuff excluded):

  • Visors come with illuminated vanity mirrors
  • Home-link on Premium trims (FINALLY)
  • Lava Red interior, which appears to be a standard black interior with red door inserts and seat stripes
  • Stone interior is changing to mirror the Lava Red interior above, with Stone door inserts and stripes
  • Glass roof now available with Stone (I assume that's grey?) interior
  • Security package now comes with either a reverse-sensing system or HIDs (two separate packages), and a third package for BOTH HIDs AND RSS.
  • Selectable-effort EPAS (Comfort, Normal, Sport) (wonder if this can be programmed for '11s as well? I mean, it's all electric, right?)
  • 3.55,3.73, and Brembo remain available only on manuals
  • Engine and both transmissions have stars next to them, indicating they are new for this model year. Don't know what this means.
  • 2-way adjustable head rests don't have a star next to them, indicating they are the same as on '11s.
And that's what I see. If you see something else, or different, post it up.

That selectable-effort EPAS might be worth changing my order to a 2012 for. I don't know yet.
