so wait.. it went from a "Boss LT"
to make it appear to everyone that this was some sort of special Boss.
But it wasn't.
LT like always means Luxury Touring. but I guess it wasn't either.
Apparently that's too fool people to think it's a Boss "Lite?" ooookay.......
Instead of Boss LT, BS Lite would make more sense.
Then came the CDC open mouth that is GT500 like... Which is totally cool,
Then because there is no open lower grille, apparently the best way to copy that is to take the lower grille off.
But rather than trim the tabs off to make it work and look complete, they are left exposed. So it stays unfinished.
Then comes "GT500-R"
Claiming to be a GT500? I'd say so, but he doesn't.
GT500-R? Sounds like he's trying again to make it to be more than it is to be a "Race" variant? or a "Rice" variant? Let's go with "replica"
Since LT was "Lite" I bet GT is "Gives them"
Gives them 500 for Replicas?
Gives them 500 for Rice
Personally I should be a GT500-BS
Gives them 500 for BS
There is enough space for "GT500 Replica" But again.. hey.. make sure you're ambiguous again so it looks "special"
Then there of course is the added Shelby Cobras in place of the 5.0.....

Customize your car to your hearts content.. But trying to play it off as something it's not with callouts and badging, then taking it to the next level? yikes. Might as well take the next step and Call it's a "Sheldy 1000"

I like your optimism, and your car is definitely one of the nicer ones ive seen so I'd say keep going with your vision. I now understand what GT500R stands for... It's kinda like Audi with the "S Line" it's not exactly an S, but has the styling of one. U will definitely get bashed for the emblems, but your car is tastefully done and it's definitely better than the ones that are being overdone with too many stickers and lettering

As far as being mad? Not at all. I guess I'm disappointed at how lame some people actually are. Car looks great, but the badging is BS.
I'm perfectly happy with my GT without trying to make people think it's more than it actually is.

People have opinions, is what it is. I have no issues with mixing and matching parts, just pick a theme and stick with it. I think a full emblem delete would work. Please do not be the guy I know locally who has a red v6 with boss, Gt, 5.o badging and claims to have exclusive parts found at autozone.
Like I said I like the car overall just would change a few things. I actually have a GT500 and blacked out my emblems to make it less subtle now more pronounced. Thats just me

I'm really looking forward to reading about your GT500 engine/trans swap. As well as the bumper, then of course all the slight interior changes. Until then you're nothing but a poseur, modern domestic ricer, like all those before you that try to make their cars appear to be something they are not.

Goodness, even for a woman you complain to much ... Let people do what they want with their cars, you better not put anything on your car from another car or something that a higher car has like a boss steering wheel or GT500 spoiler.... Cuz someone might think its not what it is
