ZL1's are pretty rare around these parts, I have been to HMS and it was a blast. There are a few running around with some mods so I need to be careful lol

I have seen a few so far in MD. I just like the article in Motortrend (shocker) that has the ZL1 and the GT500 on VIR and the ZL1 is only 3 seconds faster with all of its awesome suspension, IRS, and wider rear tires. Not that impressed.

I was wrong, for some reason I thought MT, however neither car mag is very reliable/non biased in my book. However now that it's on paper I'll take it. I doubt even on the same track/same driver the GT500 could match the ZL1 since the grip and suspension doesn't seem to match up between the cars.

However, I have to say that the Camaro owners I have seen up on the roads here in New England have been very cool, giving the thumbs up to the new Boss. However in 8k miles, nobody has bothered or cared to perform a perfectly legal and safe 'acceleration test' or compare speedometer accuracy on the highway.

The reason I do not buy it is there were tests performed before between the two, head to head on 4 different tracks. The GT500 lost once, tied once and beat the zl1 twice. So thats why I dont buy it. You wanna laugh? look up the video on youtube from the lightning lap, the in car video of the guy driving the GT500 is ridiculous, tell me if you see something wrong
