I wish I had done it when I first got the car and before I had the dealer poke holes in the bumper. The bumper plugs are a very acceptable compromise after the fact though.

Thanks! It was hard to get them all to fit. Glad I remembered to bring my wide angle lens with me. Backing up towards the river with such a steep drop down was a bit nerve racking, but luckily we had some spotters to help us out.
I lucked out with the dealer not drilling holes. Every other one they had on the lot had the holes drilled, except mine. How easy is it to take it off and put it back on? Would be so nice to take the plate off for when I decide to do a quick shoot.

The car is looking good with the new wheels and tires Nathan.
Our local Barney Fife "Convinced" (Fix it or ticket!!!) me to put a plate on the front of mine. I found one that works great with the Roush splitter and seems to be fairly stout. I think it cost me around $60 and about 30 minutes to install.

Mine is completely manual. The license plate is attached to a vertical bracket which has two male tubes that slide into female tubes on a bracket mounted under the bumper. A pull ring releases the plate bracket. I'm concerned about my driveway clearance and the profile of the under-bumper bracket is more shallow than the other two types which requires bending over to release the pull ring. It gets the job done...simple and neat. You can position your plate anywhere on the bumper. I chose to offset mine.

There are a few different kinds....one type folds and slides under the bumper, another type does the same only it's electrically operated.

...and if you're lowered, that variety tends to hang really low.
