Are you building a monster Mustang that requires a roll cage or it just for safety because of the drop top?

Heading towards monster territory possibly next couple years (turbo plans)...

I do run regularly at the strip. Per NHRA any open top car faster than 13.50 needs a 6 pt cage & SFI harnesses. I'm just actually getting fully up to speed, they let me slide a bit last season with a 4 point only running bottom 13's/ high 12's (Denver altitude). They did warn me though to come back prepared if I wanted to go any faster.....sad part is all this stuff is only good down till 11.50 in an open car. I haven't fully checked, but it is entirely possible the cage you need to run quicker than 11.50 open top might require starting over completely cage wise, LOL!! At that point I might get a coupe and swap parts over, not sure yet. I love the 'vert though so will keep it one way or the other

And a lowered S550 is even lower.

Nothing worse than trolling falling upon deaf ears

It got so cold after 5 yesterday and then started raining...I never got the car out

Thank you Burton. Those were from almost a couple years back. Just wanted to get the thread back on track.
I cannot wait for summer. I wish it would be summer year round.

I just want to publicly apologize for being the main cause for getting this thread off track. I think maybe I was possessed by the devil. Sorry gang. At any rate does anyone feel I should leave my car plain or add some black accent stripes, and if so what type and where?

Car looks great Robert. I bet it's a blast now with that VMP tune.
Definitely add some black stripes to break it up a bit.
