Not me. Retirement city here, baby. When I'm busy it's because I want to be, not have to be.
You know what's ironic? When I worked, I never used a calendar. I could remember everything I was supposed to do.
Now I live by the calendar because I lose track of which day of the week it is. Everyday is Saturday to me.

^ lol... everyday is Monday to me.
Between work, and all the programs we are winning, with the government, etc.... I'm up to my neck in negotiating, planning, recruiting, management, etc..... it's a chore. I need to retire. LOL.
On top of that, my eldest is in Baseball now, so we're going to games/tourneys, etc. And my 2nd one will be there soon enough. 2 boys in sports, buckle up.

Thank you for all of the compliments fellas. I appreciate it. The new wheels are growing on me. at first i felt almost overwhelmed and embarrassed. They were so shiny and in your face.
I'm glad i got the "GT" redone though. Looks much better.
Oh and no boot for me as i'm shifting from top up to down alot lately. It's my daily driver most days and my face get's too much sun if i'm not careful.
Tag won't be making many appearances in the car in this heat.

Just a few from last nite's cruise in Hackettstown NJ. I was too lazy to walk around all nite with the heat and humidity, so my fat butt was planted in my chair under a tree....until a real deal '65 GT350 rolled in....and it's a driver. My blood pressure still hasn't come down from the red zone.
That GT350 is jaw dropping!
Tonight i did a little cleaning and then went for a perfect convertible drive into the sun. During which i learned a couple things...whilst driving into the sun i saw just how dusty the inside of my windshield is. I also found out my trunk light is burnt out. Not that i ever go into the trunk after dark, but it will bug me till i replace it.

I hear you about the windshield. I pride myself on the way I maintain mine, but glass defeats me. Just when I think I finally have the windshield perfect, I discover huge smudges or streaks later in the day when the sun is in a different position. And when I clean those, I find more. Drives me nuts.
Yeah, that GT350 is killer. And it's no trailer queen. Even the road rash was perfect. And I don't care what exhaust system we put on our newer Mustangs or how much money we sink into engine mods.....they'll never sound as good as a hi po 289 in a 65 Shelby.

Pretty cool show last nite @ JR Tobacco in Whippany, NJ, despite the oppressive humidity. But by 7:30 a nice breeze developed and the evening turned out to be very real pleasant. And it was a great top-down drive back. Naturally I took the long way home. Mostly vintage stuff and hot rods, but it's all good.
The first two pics are of the DJ. The Golden Gup is a local celebrity here in Northern NJ. In addition to his live DJ gig he restores and sells vintage jukeboxes, hosts a 50's radio show, and maintains a fleet of Gup-Mobiles including a '57 Buick with a hollowed-out trunk that holds a massive, working 50's Wurlitzer juke box that he hires out for parties. All his cars are painted hot pink and black, and all have wide whitewalls and painted logos with gold leaf lettering....quite the character.

Nice photos. I always look forward to your videos and high speed shots! I am a little jealous of you though, glad to see someone driving their stang to the limits and it's good to know the car is holding up well. I plan on tracking mine in a few years, when I can afford to do so comfortably. In the meantime, I am slowly building the car to make it road race ready. Keep the videos and tech tips coming, this site needs you!

Thanks glad they are fun for some folks to watch. And yes the car is holding up nicely so far! Headed back out on Tuesday 😎

Alex…if I lived remotely close to you, I'd quit my job and you can hire me full time as your detailer. lol
Photos from last weekend. I attended a nice car show downtown. I haven't had the time lately to drive her or take pics. Sorry for the delay. Marilyn was detailed at that time with a full wash with Chemical Guys (CG) Mr. Pink, then dried with CG Speed Wipe, then lavished with CG Blacklight, then finally topped with Pinnacle Souveran.
Enjoy.
At home, at 7:00 am, before the show… getting ready.

Found a good spot downtown before the show. I just parked and took some shots. People thought I was crazy. LOL.

At the show… a lot of German cars there, but just a few 'Muricas….
