My ex used to say that, but she wasn't talking about a car.

Lmao this question is for Burton or anyone else i guess. But expecially him since his ride is always in show condition.

Do you have a single scratch or minor scuff on your car? I know no matter what, these things happen since we drive the cars in various places.

Im actually just curious, i know everybody has that one tiny little scuff or scratch.

My hood and bumper are littered with rock chips. I can already seeing having to get the bumper sanded and repainted. I really wanted to get the clear bra but it is not cheap.

First wash and wax of the year! Its only a quick detailer wax though...didn't have time/energy for the full job.

Whaaaaat? You want to know Marilyn's deepest and darkest secrets? How DARE you!!!!!!

Kidding man.

Yes, we all have imperfections, luckily mine are mostly all on the clear bra. That IS the purpose of it anyhow, to absorb the hits instead of the paint. So when that becomes really bad, I peel it off and put a new one on. Clear bra = best investment in vehicle ownership.

I do have (had) a minor chip riiiiiiiiiight on the edge of the clear bra, on the paint, where the clear bra ends. Of course, as Murphy's Law is in full effect, it will happen. I filled it, then lightly wet sanded it down, then fully buffed it, so it is literally BARELY there, and paint is 95% perfect I'd say. It's the best I can do short of repaint/spot repainting. I have done that technique in a couple other spots where Murphy's law strikes. The rest of the regular scuffs/swirls/scratches are inevitable due to washing, waxing, etc... no matter what, those imperfections are instilled, BUT I remove them with my 1x a year light polish/buff.

So in summary, I'd say Marilyn is 90-95% optically perfect. It helps that I was/am a prof. detailer on the side, so, I know what to and what not to do.

Also, Kyle (livinthestanglife) with the beautiful Mach 1, has seen my car in person. He can attest.

Anthony, please see note above about clear bra. It's a MUST do for all car aficionados. For all my vehicles, I have it embedded as a line item during purchase negotiations. If I can have them do it at their dealership, I don't even take ownership (drive off the lot) until it has it on. If not, I blue tape the entire front end before driving off, then have an appointment with my trusted clear bra installer the very same or next day.

Clear bra = worth every penny.

Nice car, and welcome to TMS. Beautiful ride... love the theme, stance, etc. it's your car and your call in the end, but I would suggest removing that white Ford Racing decal beneath the 5.0 badge. It clutters up the area, and disrupts the overall cohesiveness of your car.

GF is a happy girl ... finally got to drive her Mustang again after it's been in storage since 12-14-2014 ...
I only wish she gave it more gas pulling away, but with all that sand on the road, 4-month-old gas in the tank,
and cold summer tires, she was prudent and smartly so

Well, not exactly pics of the Mustang, but this is for the Mustang. My sidewalk and apron are getting done today so that I can finally take it out without leaving it's underside guts all over the street.

I salute you!!! I hate big curbs for driveways. They're the worst! Do you have any before pics?

Nice! The house we're buying this month (almost done being built) has the stupid curb, which means I don't plan on lowering the car (cause like you, I don't want to scrape each time I pull it out of the garage)! Plus, the main road from our house to the freeway has a really nasty dip to it, which makes everyone go about 10 MPH over it! And I still see people scrape!

I'm not getting the whole driveway done...just the apron and two cement sidewalk pads. The plan originally called for just replacing the pads, tapering them from the untouched edges of the sidewalk downwards and up again, and then just patching the asphalt apron. But it looks like the apron will be concrete too and make a better transition to the driveway. The last pic is my splitter. Yesterday I took 100 grit and sanded down the eaten up area of the splitter. I'll take it off, do a better job of smoothing it, and spray bombing it until I get a new splitter. For now it looks a little bit better.
