Just got the car back after a day long detailing job. Only have a crappy cell pic for now. Real pics in better lighting to come.

Hahah dust on it from driving it out of the garage for 2 seconds

Still waiting on better weather to take some pics with my camera.

Got another cell pic in the 10 seconds of sun that showed it self today.

Went on lil cruise today, windows down and all, had several people compliment the car at red lights, parking lots etc. Also had a few haters (a nissan altima trying to race me) and some scrawny college kid who said "nice mustang, sorry about your dick" which i got a chuckle out of. He waited till i drove 20 or so feet away to say that, he looked pretty upset.

Ah yes, the joys of a black car. Yours looks great. Good job. If I wasn't retired, I would have gotten a a different color. My new job is staying on top of the detailing. Not much in the way of salary, though!!!

I'm not complaining. It's become a labor of love, and black looks spectacular as long as it's done right. But I'm convinced that if I kept it in a hermetically sealed garage and wore a haz-mat suit, it'd still attract dust.

I recently started using Liquid Glass, and just applied it's third coat yesterday inside of five days. Several more are due, perhaps a total of 10 coats before it goes into hibernation once the bad weather arrives.

Hard to describe the effects of Liquid Glass...it's not necessarily more reflective, but it seems to be attaining more depth with each coat. The biggest plus though is that it's much easier to dust off and maintain. The finish is amazingly slippery, more so than wax, so that alone is worth the extra effort.

Sounds awesome Dewayne. So curious, is the benefit of that purely accoustic? Or some power gains too? And what is needed, mechanically/parts, to allow that to happen? Meaning, does one have to buy parts PLUS the tune?

I know you guys will gag at the fact that I'm posting crappy cell phone pics, but I was rushing

Drove her to work today and saw this parked next to me. I smiled.

I got my car detailed yesterday and while I was looking it over after it was done it was already getting dusty... LOL! Black looks great when clean, but man, it's a huge pain! I just can't wait to get into our new house, so I can actually give the car the attention it deserves! I at least have a garage at my current apartment, but no way to wash her...

Nice!

You get other Mustangs that park next to you, I get crappy old minivans that look like they're being held together with duct tape and good thoughts...

It's mostly for the sound at idle, but once it gets above a certain rpm it goes into a performance tune. The only thing you need is to have no cats, because the tune will burn them up. Other than that it's pretty simple. Just load the tune into you car.

Another dumb question... so why is it called a "cammed" tune?
